This is an irresponsible thread. I respectfully disagree. This is one of the more interesting threads that hasn't digressed into a rehash of Mitch's entire career. Patsos is an extremely engaging personality, knows the game, knows the conference, knows AND RESPECTS and probably ENVIES the Siena Program. Discussing the possibility of his coming will help all of us set aside the "main topic" between here and the end of the season that has consumed us all.

This is an irresponsible thread. From the moderator of the clownish MAAC board. Classic. Patsos coming to Siena is completely possible and thus a fair discussion. What else should we discuss how Loyola's going to beat us by 25 tomorrow?

And the best thing is - Patsos could bring Laon Long and his crazy mom along. She could have her own radio show and maybe a section in the stands.

This is an irresponsible thread. Then don't read it. Or re-post it. Loyola moving to the Patriot is why this interest has emerged. Blame them, not Pastos.

Pretty impressive! But how can he possibly talk that long without a stat sheet in front of him?

This is an irresponsible thread. If we worked for Siena or Loyola it would be. It would be an NCAA violation. We don't, do it's not.

Second, I think no matter who Siena gets your going to have some issue with him ! Give me a break ! Sir, the more you post the more you demonstrate that you have no idea what you are talking about. I know S22 personally and he has NEVER even remotely considered Mitch as the "second coming". Several of us, S22 being in that mix, got to see Mitch as the #1 Assistant under Fran and did not see any indicators of how he would change after becoming a HC again. The Fairfield record was explored and dismissed. We thought it was the right thing to give him a chance for many reasons. The only people who had major issues were those charter members of the Siena chapter of Nostradamus Wanna Be's (the President being the owner of this board) who, I might add, were accurate in their predictions. Our initial support of Mitch was based on how we saw him during the previous five, very successful years that he was often given a large share of credit for. That support has waned - slowly yes because there were many mitigating circumsatances (we call them reasons, others called them excuses). That support has all but completely disappeared and we all patiently wait to see what changes will be made when this dismal season ends. I am guessing that S22 will support any decision Siena makes and not immediately have issues with a new head coach.

There's a difference between someone who's always right and someone who knows enough that he's worth hearing out.
