Lavon was not the biggest liability in the man to man defense against Fordham. Thomas scored 8 straight points off his man at one point, basically just walking past him to the hoop. No need to name the defender, he tried, but it was just too much of a mismatch. After the first two scores an adjustment should have been made, but it did come shortly thereafter. Saw that.. hofstra went after same player one point in game his man took him 3 plays in a row Everyone saw it and I agree there is no need to mention the player...this is 2014... a brand new year to start fresh and enjoy our Saints without the nonsense on this board distracting the great things the team is doing on the court... so going forward I will exercise the block option for those that want to argue in an attempt to ruin my joy... you know who you are... Happy New Year!

Come on folks stop baiting and then slamming if she reacts to defend her boy. BTW, her response to the first post about Silas' 5th was pretty good... EVERYONE KNOWS Lavon is a great player. Not one person out here has ever said anything different. She is just delusional when she thinks he can effectively cover 6'3"-6'2" guards. He's TOO BIG to do that. Sorry if that's a knock, but it's the truth. That's why he is better when we play bigger conference teams. Most of the time, their SF's are 6'6"-6-7" like him. MAAC teams usually run small, and most SF's are undersized with guard-like ball skills. This could be an issue down the road if we continue to play man-to-man with Lavon at the SF. HJ - not looking to take sides because both opinions are well know & we know the truth will bear itself out over time. All I am saying is that the same bait, bite, battle gets really old....

Happy New Year! Bisping. And it isn't trashing him to say so. If we get on guys for fouls we can get on a guy getting beaten like a drum
