Really? Do you really think odds makers “guess” when a team will have an off night. I sure hope you don’t bet with real money..LOL Team with a better record, scores more points per game, better.rpi, better conference is usually favored. I hope they are right, they usually are so it should be a close game. Another A10 team St.Louis. is on the road tonight at Vandy and is favored by 3. Gotcha-- so you have St Louis and Fordham on same level? LOL..

Rams score 86 pts and lose. I don't think we can score 86 pts...so our defense has to do better than harvard...Harvard scores 94 pts...Rams defense is questionable. Should be a good game. I have to disagree with this. Siena scored 84 against Niagara while holding them to 71. That's another high scoring team that plays no defense using a small lineup similar to Fordham's style. If Siena can contain at least one of Fordham's scorers like they did Mason, they can earn a similar result in this game. Siena is actually supposed to be a high scoring fast-paced team too. They play fast, they just don't score as much as they should due to inefficiency. What's holding them back is all the fouling and poor shooting.

Severe is another one of those older Freshman. He is almost 20. Fay, another freshman on the team is 20 already. Suarez, a Freshman is also 20. The Seniors on this Fordham team are two years older than the Freshman LOL
When I was a freshman i had just barely turned 18

Looking at the Fordham game tonight I think everyone agrees it is going to be a high scoring up tempo game. While I agree with that I think the game will be decided on the defensive end. Poole, Long and Bisping will have to defend smaller quicker players, while for Fordham Frazier, Thomas and Smith will have to defend taller and stronger players. This 3 on 3 game within the game I feel will decide the outcome tonight. I can see Bisping and Long both with double-doubles but concerned about the Fordham trio going off. I understand I left Severe out but he is going to get his one way or the other even if it takes him 25 shots because he has that freedom to shoot and that is just what he does. Going to be an interesting game and see if either Patsos or Pecora change their usual game plan, with Patsos going to a smaller lineup or Pecora playing Canty/Leonard with Rhoomes

Niagaras talent level and supporting players are quite a bit lesser than Fordham. I will agree Fordham isn't that good, but to compare them to Niagara is disingenious.

I would consider this a good OOC win if Siena could win it. While Fordham has been down for years, they are steadily improving and have some decent players. I don't see any chance Siena guards can contain the Fordham guards, so I see a Fordham win, something like 5-7 points.

Yeah, that was pretty hard not to notice. Poor taste on paper's part. Am sure it is just laziness. I've noticed that before where they have an extremely outdated and now irrelevant picture as the first picture in an album for a topic.

Yeah, that was pretty hard not to notice. Poor taste on paper's part. Poor taste or incompetence--I'm not sure which is worse.

Monmouth defeated Fordham by having to defend those same smaller, quicker players with their bigger, slower players. Monmouth starts a front line that goes 6'10, 6'6, 6'6. They did it by shutting down Frazier, who went 2-11 from the field (0-5 from 3) to finish with "only" 12 points, and Thomas only scored 5. They also crushed Fordham on the boards 44-32, which I expect Siena to do as well. However, Monmouth also hit 12 thre pointers in that game - and that's something Siena is not capable of. Severe still got his that game, scoring 32 that game. But he can't beat you by himself, so the key is to stop one of their two big guns. I say press Severe and Frazier constantly. They both play nearly the whole game without much rest. Wear them out with waves of fresh legs constantly hounding them.
A Sacred Heart team that's currently 2-12 also beat these guys at Fordham by 12, surviving 21 and 23 from Frazier and Severe respectively. They similarly crushed Fordham on the boards 49-35. The common theme here is controlling the boards. Tonight would also be a nice time for Hymes to blow up and have one of those 30 point outbursts he's had in each of the past two seasons. I really wish we could get back the version of him that averaged 13.5 ppg and shot 36% from 3. What happened to that guy?

I'm quite clearly comparing style of play and type of lineup - not talent level. Plus Mason compares quite favorably being the nation's leading scorer and all. Stop being obtuse.

Siena opens as a 1 point favorite. Very interesting. The odds makers must be thinking Fordham is going to have an off night. I just can't see Siena out scoring them. Siena wins if they can keep it in the 60s . another nice call by papi..LOL
