Time to move on.

So now Iorizzo can see fit to print the obvious stuff we nameless faceless message board losers have been b*tching about all season.
OK, the good news is he must've gotten the sign-off from the folks in the admin to start the "exit process". I'm pretty confident now that Mitch is really done. Additionally, that mention about the A10 was probably blessed as well. Here's hoping!

Glen, it is beyond obvious what the situation at Siena is. I don't think Pete needs any special dispensation from Siena to print his article. If he did, it wouldn't have made the paper until Tuesday.

RE - I think he did need signoff. I think he got it. Here's my logic: They weren't going to fire him mid-season so the marching orders are to support the team 100%. Now, we all know the jig is up so the TU can start laying the groundwork justifying the dismissal.

The TU and Siena don't work that well together.
And the nameless, faceless blog post was written by Pete's curmudgeonly coworker Tim Wilkin.

C2 - OK, fine that Tim wrote that. I still never saw even one piece critical of Mitch from anyone at the TU this season. All of a sudden the shoe drops. Hmmmm.

Seth has a nice job at ESPN probably making good coin so Siena is going to probably have to give him the money Fran was getting in his last contract or at least close to it. Any one of -Greenberg -Paulsen -Toole Would be a Homerun of course there are other coaches would would be good fits.

how about one of the VCU assistants, love their active pressing D? I've been a strong advocate for one for the last 3 months. Mike Rhoades is Assoc. Head Coach and would be an outstanding hire.

Need experience I'm hearing that admin. will be going after Rich Pitino of FIU. I bought his name up a few months ago, and it makes sense because of the NY connection, his Dad knows the area real well thru Saratoga, and they both know that the program can be very, very successful. I'm sure Pitino disciple Masielllo will be a source of information for Pitino about us and the MAAC. Louisville also sent Willard to Iona/MAAC a few years ago. Downside is, he'll be gone the minute we have real success.
