That would be a complete joke. If they do a bubble do two seperate 32 team bubbles and the winners advance to the final four. If they do only 32 teams they better just do one team per conference. Otherwise the NCAA tournament is over as a know it. I didn't have a chance to read the article but I was thinking that if they had to change anything create a 32 team bubble but have a 64 team tourney. Same conference teams would play-in to make the bubble wherever possible with regional matchups making the balance. Boom! Done. Exactly just make sure 64 teams participate (and all conferences) in the tournament and you can figure out the other stuff. I don't like the 96 team tournament but maybe they kill the NIT for one year and add them to the NCAA tournament. The problem is if they do it once they probably will stay with it. But 96 teams would help make up for some of the lost revenue from the 2020 tournament that was missed.

You guys are dreaming, since the stop of the season in March not much has changed. Any sports played will be a joke, guys opting out, conferences not playing, remote learning, is it really worth it right now? Are you enjoying the MLB, NBA and NHL? I really don't care and I'm sure I'm not alone. Normally I'd watch some if not most of games every night, I haven't watched one so far.

Look at it from a young person's perspective. Do you realize that a QUARTER - 25% - of people from 18 to 24 years old considered suicide in the past several months? That's insane. This board just looks at it through the eyes of the silent era/baby boomer perspective. I get a lot of you guys are afraid. I understand and respect that. But you don't treat everyone the same.

I'm dreaming of a better situation come February/March. Time will tell if I have to adjust my expectations or not.

Trust me I'm not afraid, my life hasn't changed much, I follow guidelines and travel almost as much as normal. Follow the science of this thing for once. If one player developes a case of Covid19 and has serious side affects and loses the chance to play professionally the lawsuits will follow. You'll be safe in your bunker, and you should stay put, you are at high risk with underlying conditions.

If they did this I'd like them to use net rankings ... no committees selecting the teams.

For this year I’m on board with it but long term I’d rather stay at 68 (really 64). I also agree with Gorvy if you go to 96 teams just use the NET and no committee.

Although I already paid for our season tickets I’d be happy right now to watch the games being streamed from the ARC as long as there is a season ... it has taken awhile but I have gotten use to live music being streamed without an audience ...,as someone once said “It is what it is”

I don't see much point in Options 2 through 4. There is absolutely no reason to think things are going to get better between September and December. Either start on time or push it back to second semester, those are the only options that make sense.

Either start on time or push it back to second semester, those are the only options that make sense. I think the Thanksgiving option will likely happen because the regular students will be gone at most places until MLK day. You’d have almost a mini bubble to play your OOC and early conference games. Delaying to January what does that really change? Get more games without the student body on campuses. The numbers are going down let’s hope that keeps happening.
