Right now they should just play white at the 4 and Bisping at 5. Wright - Hymes - Poole - White - Bisping Zone all day long, can press if you want. Four guys with good to decent handles. White plays physically and can rebound against bigger guys. Im serious against smaller teams it should be considered. I thought Brett played better at the 5- so I agree with that.. I'd put in Oliver for Hymes... but I can go either way..as both will play

Really! You're not sure why??? Did you watch the game? I wasn't at the game but I had the video feed. Take a break from the steroids fella. Didn't think he played enough and didn't get the ball. Ill watch the game again and report back. Lavon played 15mins and was used like the Canisius game when he played 18 mins...never got in a rhythm. ..Patsos felt more comfortable playing other players...did not want Lavon in the game...his intensity was fine..coaches decision not foul trouble either.

Sorry PPC Lavon couldn't guard anyone at 3 position.. he was dominated today by quicker players

No. He's not effective against speed and it showed quickly. The kid needs to work on being a 4.

Its almost unfair to Long to have to guard quicker 6'3 3s its just asking for a blocking foul or puts the bigs inside in a tough spot

Yeah, I knew he was not is foul trouble, I was hoping JP was saving him for the 2nd half. Kids played tough. Nice to see Javion play. I thought White played well. Iona's numbers are pretty darn good. espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=400502581

I'm sure PPC & Jimmy can point to several things they didn't like about Lavon's play tonight, but not keeping up with quicker 3s isn't on the list. Lavon's defense wasn't the issue at all.
Iona busted our typical zone with long 3s and then abused our small guards when we went man. We made our run when we switched to a 3-2 zone with Oliver up top (similiar to what Marist did late with Lewis that disrupted our offensive flow).

You couldn't play him at 3 today, no way he could stay w/ Iona's guards. Long was pulled early missed block outs and going to the boards. Lacked focus//intensity early so he was pulled.

Thank you...Lavon had little to do with the outcome tonight.he played 15 mins and sat till the 7min mark in the 2nd half after not starting...Patsos felt he was better off with Lavon on the bench...he played very little 3 in those 15 mins and played the 5 for the 6 mins he played in the 2nd half...White and Oliver played most of the 3 mins when Poole wasn't there....it is what it is we lost the game and it had nothing to do with the big line-up vs small line-up

We then I guess he should just sit out the rest of the season. ..if what you say is true the team is better off without him

I was surprised that we did not pound the ball inside more. If we could have gotten our big guys more touches down low and let them shot fake and go up to draw the foul, or kick out to the wing to the guards who can then shoot or drive and dish. We had good offensive flow for the most part of the game until the last 7:00 of the game. I thought Poole should have handled the ball and took his man off the dribble like he was able to do a few time.
I thought we played as bad a defensive game that we have since Canisus. Our guards cannot go under ball screens that allow them to shoot 3's and then our help defensive off the dribble was poor.
Like Jimmy has said a few times this year, that this team cannot handle winning. We came out flat and played with little intensity and fire. Iona wanted this game more than we did.
