Correction. Siena beat the top seed minus their second best player who happens to be a MAAC first teamer and better than anyone on Siena's roster. His athleticism and length very well may have made a difference on Nico's performance. He most certainly would've impacted the game and how Siena defended. Comparatively, If Siena was without nico they lose by 30 with or without the full Monmouth roster. I think next year's team will look very much like Marist did when they had Chavaughn Lewis. Look for a real bumpy year next season finishing around .200-.400 depending entirely on the return and health of Clareth Let it go- you sound as bad as the apologists who makes excuses every time Siena loses. Siena won no need for excuses. Jimmy isn’t Mitch- he was 2-4 vs Iona and Monmouth – his record stands on its own, no need for excuses either for wins or loses. You are what your record says you are

According to the VC website, Siena ranks 7 in the MAAC in the average Star Rating of their commits. While I do not give 100% stock in the player star rating, it is disappointing non the less to see the list of teams above the Saints and does not help JP's cause regarding his lack of bringing in quality recruits: verbalcommits.com/conferences/maac

When your recruiting competition is, well... No one...

I saw that Smithen just had surgery to repair a torn labrum that he had been playing with all year. Im hoping he makes a big jump next season when he's healthy.

I hope he gets healthy. I really like him and think he can be an integral piece because of his calm demeanor and higher level of maturity.

Anybody know how serious that is and what the recovery is? He can't pitch for 2 months and will have to throw off flat ground before he gets back on the mound. He'll have to stay behind in extended spring training for sure.

Offense??? We don't worry about no offense here.....Nico=Batman...no Robin necessary; he will be taking 75% of the team shots per game if allowed. Three guys just need to be strategically placed to catch the long rebounds and find the guy who should hang around in the paint.

Nico's right triceps are going to grow to 10x the size of his left next year with all those reps he'll be getting.
