Can we look forward optimistically? Let's start by giving the known roster for next year. I think I know who the newcomers already on the bench are (Degnan & Penn), but I admit I do not know exactly who all the incoming recruits are. Can somebody list what the roster looks like now? (Please lets refrain from guessing who may not return. It serves no purpose and, frankly, is disrespectful.). Any addl info would be helpful. That is, height and expected position.
Thanks in advance.

We'll see what happens with Nico. JP desperately needs him to stay around. We're already losing a ton of talent. The incoming frosh better be good and we better add a couple of more pieces.
Last year was a brutal loss... Iona just keeps reloading. I hate to say it but had we just went meekly against Monmouth from a fan perspective I would have felt better. This is the worst to win that game and then lose to Iona in OT in the title game on our home floor again. What a kick in the balls...

That's looking like a PIG roster to me. But what do I know? Perhaps the next Marc Brown is among the many newcomers who had no other division 1 offers. Assuming everyone stays, if I had to guess the next starting lineup, it's Penn, Shivers, Clareth, Degnan, and Friday. Yikes.

Really it would have been better to lose in the semis than to lose in OT in the finals. Just withdraw your fan card and be done with it.

A roster with no seniors. So yeah, it'll depend how quickly the freshman develop, and how big a jump the sophomores make. I like that we'd have all the contributors back for the '18-'19 season.
We were all in with this past group. They got all the playing time, and deservedly so. As a group, they came up short. This happens to a lot of programs, unless you continually take transfers and 24 yo 5th grads. We take neither. That hurts us in the "immediate fix" department.

I'm proud as hell with how these kids played this weekend. If I'm going to lose, thats the way to do it. Leaving it all on the floor against the conferences best, down to the wire. That game could have gone either way several times. It's sports. Someone has to win. Someone has to lose.

Losing to them for the third straight year and the millionth time in the TUC is such a kick in the ass. Either way we're not going to the NCAA tournament... if we didn't go - Iona going is the worst possible result. I can't be alone here - help me out people??!? Guess what Iona only loses Washington........they'll farm in more guys and probably win it again. While we're *hoping* to be competitive thanks to shitty recruiting. We lose all of our great coaches but they keep Mr. 80's porn stache and keep beating us. Doesn't that piss you off?

We beat the best team......... and lost to the mercenaries - which now are dwarfing us in MAAC titles. God forbid they win an NCAA game...only thing we've got over them. I was rooting like hell for St. Peter's after our win. I can't stand Iona - I hope whoever they play in the NCAA tournament beats them by 50. You're a Cowboys fan.......would you have rather lost to the Packers or Giants? ??
