Do tell BM what why wouldn't that "fully" win over the fanbase? I believe some have a personal animus for the man that cannot be overcome by the team's success. They will appreciate the success as a good thing for the players and as a means to allow Patsos to move on. I don't believe there are a lot of those people around I think most just want a return to being highly competitive and to be one of the stronger mid major programs again not mid or low pack.

If Siena lands say Patella and Keller, they'll be a different style team.
It would be 'big SG' oriented like Iona typically is.
We aren't going to replace JO and Bisping's interior presence next year. There's absolutely no way in hell we replace that level of production immediately. It ain't happenin'.
But Siena can be pretty competitive if they are overflowing with scoring guards.

I don't disagree. It is certainly a minority, but I hear comments to that effect more often than you would think and not just here but at games and other social gatherings with fellow Siena fans.

But Oduro should go a long way towards replacing it down the road. Coupled with WB, Fisher, and Friday, and I'd say the team is in better shape than most conference mates up front for the foreseeable future.

The bigs have to rebound and defend. Key is to keep bringing in talent- off to good start with Prince- get Patella.. and I'm sure we will get a good guard. You need 3 things talent , talent and more talent.

Where does Degnan fit in with that group? The 5th big. We lose our entire starting front court, but we might have the best one in the MAAC again next year.

Let's bump this thread back up to the top. Jimmy can't close the deal on his main targets; Bad recruiting or foul play? Tell us what you think.

Not sure he cant close the deal- only that he struggled this year. We have 4 senior starters leaving. Still plenty of time left-- but lets be clear Jimmy and staff had a disastrous early signing period so far

It's a combination but I truly think he gets out worked. Just a feeling
