Let's get McGuirl locked up. Patsos has to win a couple of these battles for better mid major talent!

Good for McGuirl. I knew we were in trouble when he mentioned his visit there on twitter (and no one elses). Hopefully we made good with him, and when he comes back east, and he will, we can get him here.
Some kids need to go as high as possible. I know he's making a mistake, but he'll learn. Bigger name isn't always better.

Keller is the last of our initial guard prospects left and Patella and Prince are the only ones left who visited who are still considering us. Hopefully we get some new kids to consider us

Hard to be mad about losing a kid to the Big 12. We just gotta keep pushing and we'll get some good kids.

Not good! Staff is swinging and missing. So far we got squat and those mentioned as priorities have gone elsewhere. Low major kids we don't need and I'm afraid that's what we're gonna end up with ..... Hopefully we can beat out the likes of Vt and Md Eastern Shore.
Patella Oduro & Keller? Anyone else on the priority list?

At least he's swinging. That was one of the earlier complaints.

Too early to panic, a lot of time left. It is rather concerning that Jimmy is struggling to sign his primary targets. Not all his fault some of the kids “blew up” but many have signed with other mid or low majors. What makes that so disappointing is fact we have playing time available.

Do you feel Siena has more to offer a potential recruit then some of those mid to low major programs(on & off the court)?

Do you feel Siena has more to offer a potential recruit then some of those mid to low major programs(on & off the court)? We used to, but those days are gone or indefinitely on long term hold, IMO. Our 'sub-stellar' OOC schedule has zero advantage when it comes to luring a potential recruit in to see the benefits of our previously acclaimed home court at the TUC - best offering Vermont! Next biggest "home" draw is right next door in Glens Falls - now there is a recruiting plus - oh, wait we may actually attract another fanny or two down to the TUC so all is not lost. Our biggest regional rivalry, this year being played at a pseudo high school gym with a few chairbacks and maybe 100 Siena fans - testimony to how committed Siena's Admins currently are to maintaining at least a hint of wanting to return us to appearing to be a strong mid-major - NOT! Bottom line - no big advantages re recruiting and more concerns about actions causing a rash of transfers from our previously loyal season ticket and walk-up fan base.
