The turnovers are really getting out of hand. I don't know how much longer we can keep that up and still keep winning games. We're averaging like 17 a game. That should put you in last place by rights. It's just that our FG% and rebounding has been so good we've made up for it. I'm happy for the win, but I'm not as enthusiastic as most of this board. Siena clearly was the more talented team yet they struggled and did almost everything they could to lose that game. There's some truth to what you say, but a hallmark of good teams is finding ways to win even when struggling with an off night. That's what Siena did tonight on the road against a contender in a good league. So be enthusiastic about that.

As was mentioned above, the impressive thing is they played as you described and still won. That is the good thing. Play poorly and still come away with the win. That is what good teams do. Yes I get it, and I also get they could have lost by two and that would make them not a good team? no. things are never that black and white. These are college kids. Growing physically and mentally, just kids. Let's be happy for a great win against a good team and our loved team finally starting to develop. Enjoy it, it's been a long five years!

Our long bench makes all the difference this year. The coaching staff has choices!! That long bench isn't looking so long to me right now. I see 6-7 guys doing most of the work. Silas is starting to come along and be the 7th. I had hoped for a little more. Like I said, maybe LaRose or Paige...or change your mind on WB. Wormley isn't even hardly driving and he's got a 1-5 assist ratio thru 5 games. He's shooting 2-7...with just 1 steal. And he's fouling a lot. This kid just doesn't look ready. I mean Clareth is turning it over but it's because he's making stuff happen. Wormley is playing a bit like a dead fish. Wright can't even take a minute off. How long can that last? It's almost like MB2 all over again with Hymes. Paige is a better rebounder than Fisher is right now. 3 boards in 46 mins. Eek. some people are never happy. I think most of us are aware of where our team has to improve and how players have to grow individually. Can't you chill out just a little with the rhetoric for a short time and enjoy a great win "in spite of", for one night?

My 2 cents: Nico is a difference maker, he is going to be awesome. Don't know what was up with Lavon tonight but he was money at the end; that block was huge and he hit 2 FT's when it seemed everyone else couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

It's nice to have him at the end of games. I give him a lot of credit for working on his fouls. Siena racked up the fouls again and most of the rotation was in foul trouble but Lavon only had 2.

Ugly game-at least They came away with the win -mostly due to the rebounding advantage-no excuse for the horrendous foulshooting-gotta address that-Another dumb T by Patsos.... What was dumb about it?

Last year, we lose this game. We tried to lose this one, but fought thru the common, "on the last game of a road trip" mistakes. Good teams find ways to win tough, hard fought games ON THE ROAD like this, and we did it. Couldn't be more proud of a 3-2 team going into Thanksgiving.

Big win last night, a sign of a good team when you can win on road when you don’t play your best game. Bucknell is going to win a lot of games, let’s remember they just dominated Manhattan on their home court a few days ago. RPI doesn’t mean much ( very volatile ) for another 2 weeks, but as of this morning Saints RPI is 53. We have some very encouraging signs after first 5 games. Our front line is going to dominate the MAAC – no wonder WB was red shirted, the way JO and Brett are ( 40 points and 24 boards- that domination folks) playing you don’t like seeing them come out. Imoh is giving us a nice lift when he comes in. Another point we have 5 road games, freshmen haven’t played at home yet –Freshmen are notorious for playing better at home than on road, it usually takes freshmen time to learn to play on road . Bodes well for us. Our half-court defense is much better. We have much to work on, (transition defense, cut down turnovers etc . But we have look and feel of a top MAAC team, its early but liking our chances of being a top 3 MAAC team. As a fan I’m allowed to look ahead – let’s see how team deals with expectations – we should be favorites in next 3 games ( Home vs Loyola @ Cornell and home vs Manhattan

Was at work, so I didn't get to tune in tonight, but wasn't expecting this team to start the season at 3-2. I really like the energy and character that the freshmen bring to the team. Can't wait to see how they show at the TUC. It's no Cameron or Kohl Center, but it's definitely a special place. Crossing my fingers for a big, loud and rowdy crowd against Loyola.

Coming out of the huddle is a point of emphasis this year - bogus call but you usually see POE calls early in the year for emphasis and so the refs can say they get it. Total BS that almost bit us but we should learn from it. Ugly hard fought game. Kids looked tired but never gave up. Can build on this one in way too many areas. On to the TUC. a 1 point technical in the first half did not affect the outcome of a game. How many shots around the rim did the Saints miss tonight? Great win but the Saints did not play their best. Thing is, love it. Last year they needed to play well in order to win ... really good teams can struggle and still find ways to win. In any competition it isnt the outcomes when you play well that define how good you are. It is often the results when you arent playing your best. Example... I have a team that just took third nationally and not once during the national championship tournament did we play even close to our best. The team grunted it out. Siena grunted this one out. These tough fought wins when you aren't playing your best are often the ones to remember. Anyone can win when they are playing well.

I like that we have a bench and can sub at every position. We can't keep playing Quis the entire game though so Jimmy has to get more confident in Worm and Oliver is nice off bench and can handle it too
