Quick turnaround for Saints. Bison are pretty good this year, Saints will have to come to play. Bucknell main scoring weapon is 6’5” Chris Hass, if he gets “going” he can really fill it up. Bison have 3 players avg double figures and are a balanced scoring team. A one-time Siena recruiting target Kimball McKenzie plays for Bison and doing pretty good so far. Siena is bigger stronger and more athletic than Bison . Not surprisingly Bucknell plays smart and together. Bison have a nice home court. Bucknell coming off a road win at a decimated Manhattan team. A good opportunity for Saints, if we come to play a win over Bucknell would be a quality win, If Jimmy and team are happy with themselves for winning last weekend, Bucknell will hang a L on Saints faster than you can say Sojka pavilion

I believe I predicted this one as an L.
Kenpom predicts a loss on the road of 78-74.
If the Saints win this one, it means things will be really clicking and we're a bit ahead of schedule.
I think this one would be really good for the confidence of everyone and would make a statement the Saints are not going away. Plus, it would put us in a better position should we not be able to beat better teams like UAlbany, Vermont, Bonnies, and Hofstra later.
The end of December is going to be a tough stretch. Luckily most of those are at home.

Ken pom is still mainly based on last year so in my mind meaningless.Ken pom had us losing by 1 at Bryant. If Siena is a top MAAC team it's a game we should win

I think this is a big game to see if this team has matured. Last year on the rare occasions that they even strung two good games in a row together you could be sure they would come out flat the next game. Would be a good sign of maturity and focus if they came out with another good effort against Bucknell. A win would be great but even a close loss where they play well is a sign they are moving in the right direction.

I had this one as an l. Roads are hard, buck bell is good. I agree good sign of a win won't go crazy if close loss and good effort.

Bucknell is a disciplined team. And they do have a decent 6-9 center.
They are averaging 41 boards per game...although it includes a sub D1 team and even worse Manhattan who can't rebound for dung. Outrebounded them 48-33.
That's not necessarily that Bucknell was good as much as it is an indictment of Manhattan who has nobody other than Richards who has ever averaged over 2 boards per game.

I forgot Paulsen left Bucknell. That's a big plus for us right there. He's a great coach. They seem to count heavily on their underclassman. Haas is their go-to guy obviously, but the rest are real young. IF we play anywhere near the level we did last weekend, I like our chances.

With them being a 40% 3pt shooting team and teams only shooting 24% against us...I fear we may be due for a team to have a good shooting night against us.

Biggest issue will be foul/foul trouble on key players and not giving Bucknell a bunch of shots from the line. Also this isn't a team I would zone and give good looks to from 3.
Need to play aggressive D without fouling and play uptempo and dictate the flow of the game

Biggest issue will be defending them in general. They are a very efficient offense.
They're shooting over 50% as a team so far this year. Hopefully, our bad juju with having not allowed a good shooting night so far is offset by their bad juju of having shot too well so far.
Key to the game: Win the Juju battle.

Not sure how good they are, their numbers are a bit inflated with the level of comp so far. WF struggled vs UMBC from the AE only winning by about 5 or so. Also played a D3 school as well and a bad Man team. We'll find out soon enough ....should be another good test

And Robert Morris isn't good either. 3 bad offensive teams who aren't much better on defense and can't rebound. My hope is that our defense is now well rounded enough to disrupt their rhythm and allow us to take advantage of their somewhat porous defense. Ranked 209th now, 263rd last year. Based on their competition so far and lack of sample size, I'm inclined to think it more that latter. And Radford is similarly ranked defensively. I think this will be a pretty good and potentially really close game. 1st close game of the year. We beat them 73-71 last year at home. I expect a similar battle this year as we're better but also on the road.

Lavon and Brett did not play in the win against the Bison at the TUC plus JC Show transferred from Bucknell - had 23 points - espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=400586208Siena needs to prove they can put three good games together. We did not win three straight games all of last year (a bunch of two game winnings streaks was it). The team can't look ahead but the fans can - if we can pull this game out (certainly will not be easy) Siena potentially could be 5-2 before the first MAAC game with Loyola at home and at Cornell to follow after Thanksgiving. Let's do it guys!!

5 years of losing regular seasons and you want to look 3 games ahead. Put your pants back on.
