I'm astounded by the total chemistry makeover this team and staff have undergone. It defies explanation for me.
Our Saints are fun to watch once again.

One more thing, great gritty win.Hope they all stay healthy. By the way, reminds me of the Patriot's game last night. Not good but they won.

I may have missed it, but not one person took into consideration the kind of schedule this team has had. Brutal scheduling by the powers that be. Missed layups and missed foul shots are tired legs. Some of these kids have never played the kind of schedule away from there home base that these guys have had to do. I almost think there may be one or two of you have [played competitive ball by your comments. And cellar rats's name fit him and his brain size to a t. Agree completely - almost a given you will be 0-2 going into game three and then to play three in a row before you get to play in front of the majority of your fans AND sleep in your own bed. Lots of chances to fold our tent tonight and they just kept fighting and fighting in between trying to catch their breath. Impressive, lots of mistakes but they played through them and our coach kept his composure. Nice job all around!

Yeah don't know how you could be as I've never seen that called before. Actually, I'm not upset on any of JP or team'sT's over the past three years. Many times JP asks for some to get team motivated (more so the first couple years here at Siena). Not just today's funky one.

The turnovers are really getting out of hand. I don't know how much longer we can keep that up and still keep winning games. We're averaging like 17 a game. That should put you in last place by rights. It's just that our FG% and rebounding has been so good we've made up for it. I'm happy for the win, but I'm not as enthusiastic as most of this board. Siena clearly was the more talented team yet they struggled and did almost everything they could to lose that game.

JP indicated postgame they are going to continue the Bucknell series which is unfortunate because we'll have to endure that Bucknell announcer once again.

Even good teams have really bad nights, really good teams overcome that and manage to squeak out a W. I'd like to look at us that way, not saying we are really good, just heading more in that direction than we have in the past. They may have looked like they were trying to lose but, trust me, they weren't and their stick-to-itive-ness rewarded them - that will make them even tougher as the season progresses.

It's true that talent wise we certainly seemed the superior team tonight. I think the "dumb" plays, things like crazy unforced errors were a little extreme tonight, more than we should normally have. The other team tonight didn't put a lot of defensive pressure on us for the number of foolish turnovers. The good news is that when any players go into a funk this year, Jimmy can sit them down and allow said players to collect themselves (or not) Our long bench makes all the difference this year. The coaching staff has choices!!

As was mentioned above, the impressive thing is they played as you described and still won. That is the good thing. Play poorly and still come away with the win. That is what good teams do.

Yes I get it, and I also get they could have lost by two and that would make them not a good team?

I agree you can't expect to win games if you continue to turn the ball over like that especially the unforced ones. I think coming home will hopefully help in that regard. Siena will get a nice little break until Saturday. Not to make excuses but they've played in four different cities (between coming home) in the last 11 days.

Our long bench makes all the difference this year. The coaching staff has choices!! That long bench isn't looking so long to me right now. I see 6-7 guys doing most of the work. Silas is starting to come along and be the 7th. I had hoped for a little more. Like I said, maybe LaRose or Paige...or change your mind on WB. Wormley isn't even hardly driving and he's got a 1-5 assist ratio thru 5 games. He's shooting 2-7...with just 1 steal. And he's fouling a lot. This kid just doesn't look ready. I mean Clareth is turning it over but it's because he's making stuff happen. Wormley is playing a bit like a dead fish. Wright can't even take a minute off. How long can that last? It's almost like MB2 all over again with Hymes. Paige is a better rebounder than Fisher is right now. 3 boards in 46 mins. Eek.
