PPC is correct. He played the 2 for 1 possession and her description of it is spot on. Disagreeing with the idea of it won't make it less true.

PPC might want to retract her statement that Long was at 2 to end half-- it didn't happen that way...it was however one of few times all night he even played the 3 I will make a clip of the last play of the half...he was at the top across from Wright and Poole ran the baseline .. Lavon made a dribble move from the top of the key and got into the lane going right...he got his shot blocked at the rim...that was done from the 2 spot...he also played the 3 while in with Silas and Bisping or JO 2-4 tonight So you honestly think where the players stand on an out of bounds play is what position they are? Poole was running the baseline off screens (what guards do). Just because Lavon caught the ball at the top of the key is irrelevant. Like I said before, when Poole and Lavon are on the floor together, there's no question who the 2 (RP), and whos's the 3(LL). Lavon maybe the 4 if Oliver or White are also out there. Sounds like the play was for Lavon, a good passer, to get the ball to Poole for a jumper. How this makes him a guard is laughable.

No your post is laughable...I know the offense and the way it is set up...the 3 runs the baseline...in the last game Hymes played some 3 with Poole at the 2 and Wright at the 1... Lavon played 2-4 tonight. .. it does not matter as much on offense. ..the biggest difference is on defense where the 4 defends bigger than the 2 or 3 vs teams that play with 2 bigs

No, the fact you just tried to tell all of us we're playing a 5'6" small forward is laughable. ANYTHING to get your boy with a "2" next to his name.
Parents should be seen, not heard......

Good for him. Doesn't make him a guard. No matter how hard you want to believe your son is guard, it's never happening. Never. Excuse me now, while I push Evan to foreign scouts looking for an explosive 5'6" SF!! Yep, it's ME that doesn't know the game!! LMAO

Too bad he didn't score, then we only would have lost by 20.

Couldn't disagree more. Even though everyone on the board can see and most disagree with PPC's constantly pushing for Lavon to be recognized as a 2 & 3 that doesn't mean that she or any other player parent shouldn't be heard. In fact I would love to hear more from them.

Semantics people ... everyone is arguing over semantics. Who cares what position label someone wants next to their name? Honestly, that doesn't change the game on iota!
Things we or at least I care about:
What's the A/TO ratio for the player(s) charged with handling the ball for us & how do they shoot? Who's taking shots for the team? Is the team running properly to ensure they are getting the right shots? Are they making them? On both ends of the floor - who is rebounding? How is each player defending his man or area of the floor? How is each players situational awareness?
Position label has no bearing on how these and several other important yet more micro questions are answered. But these, in my humble opinion, are what we should all care about including player's and their parents.

Please let's just talk about the game NOT who played # # # # # . Win or lose ... why . not what # did or did not do.
