PPC has posted on other boards many times that Lavon is Lebron like. This is why you get the constant argument when he is mentioned as a forward. If 19 of the 20 coaches who recruited your kid saw him as a mismatch 4 and only 1 told you he was a guard, who would you believe? She heard what she wanted to from Patsos and that sealed the deal. The old recruiting game. LeBron is a PF in the league at So you will say that LeBron is a PF (4) but Lavon isn't at his level? LOL LeBron is way closer to being a guard than Lavon will ever be. He handles the ball on the perimeter a lot of the time for his team, and is their best passer. You win.....I just wasted a minute of my life comparing your son to the greatest player of all time.

...most of his points have not been around the rim. This ISN'T you telling us "where" he scores? GUARANTEED that MOST of his points have come from inside 8 ft. Let's bet. Go over every basket he scored this seaosn and get back to me. And this doesn't bother me. I feel bad that you're the only one that thinks he's a guard. I haven't seen one poster come to your defense. All you have is, "When Jimmy recruited us, he told us we'd be a guard...." Of course he did, because thats what you wanted to hear, and your son is a very talented player. Problem is, every game so far he's only played either the 3 (Small forward) or the 4 (power forward). NEVER the 2 (off guard). This isn't an opinion, it's a fact. Even if you keep saying Siena is running a 4 guard offense. which is news to every fan, supporter, reporter in the Capital District. Just because Lavon is versatile, doesn't make him a guard. You can say it a thousand times and that does not make it true...Lavon is listed as a G/F due to his versatility and how he is being used in the 4 guard offense #Facts Patsos decided that not the posters

So Lavon is a G/F because that is how he is listed but Poole is not a G/F even though he is the only player that has started at both positions? and don't forget it is Patsos that decided to start Poole at both the 2 and 3 and not the posters on this board, you did state earlier that Lavon is the only player that is a G/F, and the only reason I continue this conversation because for whatever reason I take that as you down playing other players on this team and quite frankly I find it very frustrating

I believe the topic was Hopper? Who gives a SH%T if he's a 1-2-3 ir 4. The TEAM is 4-8. The TEAM plays Fordham tonight. The coach will do what is best for the TEAM.

Ok folks, time to wrap up today's contest of "What position does Lavon play?" There will be a quiz following tonight's game against Fordham for those that just can't get enough of what coach Patsos said while he was recruiting Lavon, what is enshrined in the Siena 2013-2014 roster next to Lavon's name, and what position Lavon actually plays tonight. Extra credit will be given to anyone who can define a "pt forward". Now, with a mind's eye to tonight's contest, perhaps Coach Patsos said something like "Lavon, you are too valuable a player to be sitting next to me in foul trouble, you need to work on Guarding the Forward! All kidding aside, I just want the kid on the floor doing what he does best labels aside.

Take this literally. 2 and 3s are guards in Patsos' system. ..Lavon is a G/F because he plays inside and out. Not downplaying anyone just stating the facts.

This is beyond comical lol I hope he can stay out of foul trouble as well tonight...not getting the early one is key
