Siena stinks. I wonder how much they will raise the prices by next year, or how many fewer home games will they schedule A lot of factors in play. Who covers the cost of MVP? Guarantee from Siena or tickets sales? I remember reading Sienas on the hook for that now. Will Carm get another year? How many kids will be allowed to stay? Eley, SD and Ojo are gone IMO, who stays? If the lower level talent and Carm are here next year and Siena owns the cost at MVP a 50% increase in season tickets wouldn’t be out of the question. Who’s gonna pay more to see this product? There’s a snowball here gaining momentum. Replace the coach or go back to playing on campus. That's what the school has to decide. I'm betting they'll replace him and D'Arg--

$125K is nice but it is a drop in the bucket. 2.5 full scholarships at Siena. We have 13 on the men's hoop team alone. Sure, it is better than nothing but doesn't move the needle. To put it in more context ... That's a $25 per season ticket differential for Siena (assuming 5K season tix). This also highlights how significant our season tix base is. Remember, Carm didn’t use 2 scholarships this year so that’s another $100k. $250k almost covers 1 year of his buyout. Who knew Carm was funding his own firing? 😜 But scholarships are soft money so the only savings is the cash out the door for food and ancillary costs

They aren't that *soft*... I remember a few years ago, Siena was within a few students of being in the red. Sure there are fixed costs, etc. but those tuition dollars are very real to Siena.
