A Siena alumnus has started an online petition demanding the termination of Carm. This is getting UGLY!

Signed! Wont mean a lot but its at least a symbolic gesture. This clown show has gone on long enough. No accountability from this clown. Hes shown he cant in game coach, now his recruiting is a disaster. Cant use the youth thing, because we just got whooped by a very young, well coached Marist team. What a colossal disaster this has become. My kids now ask for us not to go to the games and I oblige, season ticket holder for decades, took over for my folks. IF this clown show is allowed to come back next year, those tickets will be relinquished. Joke.

Maybe the petition should also include a pledge amount to help with the buyout! Thats what this will come down to 💰

Attendance speaks louder. Announced attendance was approx 5200 last night, looking around I’d say there were at least 3000 no shows & I think my estimate might be light.
Half way through the 2nd half fans were bolting for the door. Carm continues to pound nails in the coffin.

The post season press conference will be full of excuses and that Carm has earned the right to right the ship and in today's environment that he can turn this around fast, blah blah blah when in reality, he will be a lame duck coach, any smart basketball player will do their homework and not want to play for this man, this system. He will get bottom of the barrell. But I truly do agree with you that it all will come down to money and I fear this administration will double down on this disaster and clown show.

Even the siena student athletes that came left as soon as they were honered. There were less than 5 students in the Siena section. Wife and I left with 9 minutes left cause I was getting more enjoyment by playing vidio games on my phone than watching the for lack of a better term, game. Very sad state of affairs.

We stayed to the end, but my wife was also so disinterested that she was playing games on her phone for most of the second half. That has never happened before.

It’s mind boggling. The school has not done anything to capitalize on the fan base and the great history of this program. Carm doesn’t look good, I feel bad for him and his family, he wants what we all want. I know you guys don’t want to hear that, but he does. And no, I don’t know him or anyone in his family. He didn’t look good at the game and it appeared as if he lost weight. God bless Carm and Siena basketball. Go Saints!

CellarRat- i feel bad for the athletes who bear the brunt of his ineptitude and his arrogance. and his inability to change or adapt. Yes I can feel sorry for Carm too but the bottom line is he owns this mess -a direct result of his actions and inactions and truculent nature.Confidence is great in a coach but so is reflection...

Athletes are less loyal than the coach, much less so. Nil and transfer rules have changed the game. Don’t feel bad for them, they don’t seem to mind the blowouts. And they won’t miss a beat. Some will make more money next year and maybe more the year after that. It’s business now, for the coaches AND the players, so don’t feel bad for them, right?

I still feel bad for them, they are missing out on that family aspect that is so important in sports. With AAU and kids jumping high schools and colleges there are a ton of kids these days that will go all the way through college without ever experiencing that.

In business there comes a time when you know it's necessary to cut your losses. If the school President lacks the savvy to recognize that--and I suspect he's a fairly savvy guy--the Board of Trustees and major Siena benefactors certainly know what the score is. Carm will not be the coach next season, barring a miraculous turnaround. UNLESS the school chooses to drop back to D2 and return to having games on campus! I don't think anyone wants that, especially the President who's in his 1st year in that role.

Carm is wrong. This is not Siena basketball. The expectations are to see Siena basketball and this is not it. He should be concerned that the product he is putting out there does not even approximate a cheap imitation of Siena Basketball. It is unwatchable.
