We pulled the plug to soon on that guy. Should have required him to add an old timer to his staff if he didnt want to get fired. Truth is, he made more money as the recruiter at big time schools, so he would have been tough to throw demands at. While Rob was the best of our “bad” coaches considering who succeeded him it was the right decision. A rarity for D’Arg. Too bad an older Lanier didn’t not succeed Fran in a reversal. D’arg wasn’t involved in the search that resulted in Fran being hired. A committee of former players and alumni including John Murray and Dinny Cahill were part of the committee that recommended Fran.

We did play a play in game in 2002 we when went "rogue". We played an HBC in Dayton if memory serves me right. Lanier was ok overall, loved Justin Miller but he and Sniezyk suffered under him.

Lanier wasnt good with the bigs he did have. I honestly though Sniezyk was as good as Forth. He was as big and more athletic. He should have been a very good player at our level. Instead he was average at best. We beat Alcorn St before we put a scare into Jimmys Terrapins.

We gave them their toughest contest enroute to their tournament win. We lost by 15 pts and refused to go away. I remember watching on TV, Billy Packer had the color commentary. He was impressed with " Siena's tall, rangy, players" If we could have stopped Mateen Cleeves from 3 we could have had a huge upset. That was no chump Siena team. I think you mean Juan Dixon. The Siena fans had our thunderstix confiscated in the stands at that game. Thanks, I stand corrected.

I attended that play-in game in Dayton and Prosper put on a show and play of the game was a baseline drive and a monster one hand slam that drew oohs and ahs as I remember! in the Maryland game the Saints put in an effort better than any team except for the Championship Game, also James Clinton had his best game as a Saint in that game with Maryland and who could forget his fathers rendition of the Star Spangled Banner in Albany. GO SAINTS!!

Honestly I don't blame carm for this. Most teams could assemble a what could've been team. It's too hypothetical. For example, What if Javion doesn't want to come here in the first place because king is established? Also Rogers just seems like a serial transferer I jumped out of my chair today when Javion made the most important shot of his career in the last seconds of overtime to beat Oklahoma State in the last "Bedlam game". He maneuvered free to get off a three pointer-nothing but net. Next year the Sooners are leaving the Big 12 and OK.State for the SEC. He's lucky he's no longer here where MAAC refs allow Siena guards to get pummeled game after game.

And Jordan King sank the final three free throws to break a tie in the Richmond game today
