I’m not suggesting Johnson will be great but I want to point out he played injured most of the year and then when he finally started to recover from one, he injured his shoulder/arm. So we may not have seen him at his best. Kellier actually held his own while playing out of position. He was asked to play out of position and he did so w/o complaint (too much 🙂) and took one for the team. He’ll only be better next year if he’s still playing out of position or we’ll finally get to see him in his more natural position. I’m sure Johnson wasn’t 100% but he was an absolute dumpster fire last year. Legitimately one of the worst players I’ve seen get regular minutes in a Siena uniform. By all means let him compete but he hasn’t earned rotation minutes at all. I’ve said before I like Kellier but more as a 6th or 7th man. Thought he did a great job backing up Stormo, but a lot of the value there was in running 5-out lineups, so we’ll see how he does if he’s given more minutes at the 4. There’s probably a reason Carm started Baer next to Stormo instead of Kellier when Gaines got hurt I thought Baer was the most improved bench player at the end of last year. He really hung in there and saved our asses in a few games. Same with Kellier, they played hard. It's going to be interesting to see what and how big their roles are this coming season. And how much improvement, if any, has been made in their respective games.

If those two play major minutes and you're looking for more than a few minutes a game from them the recruits didn't pan out and it will a long year. Again if they are in the rotation and solid contributors and team gets under 200. I'll tip my cap and say I was wrong and in Carm I trust. Lol.

But so far we are well below your over/under of the # players you predicted would be leaving. So work on your next obsession you can criticize this coach. I know you can't WAIT for 24 losses - we know that's what you love.

Now it's still May but chances are those will be the only 2 since the transfer without sitting out window has passed.

Carm comes in and has to deal with Covid, Pitino and new rules, finishes 1,1, and 3! Why are there folks criticizing him? I see a program that is gaining traction which I have not seen in a long time. I’m okay with the criticisms, I guess I don’t understand many of them. Go Saints!
