Martin has a 6'10" teammate that is rated #29 in the JUCO Top 100 players in the class of 2022. Plays 20 min a game averages 10.6 and 6.5 and shoots 51% from the field, 38.6 from three and 72 % from the FT. I wonder if it could be a package deal in the making? I don't know if that's the kind of big man they can get to sit behind Stormo for one of his two years. I imagine such a ready to go big will have his share of offers to come in and start somewhere.

If we look at the past year, getting kids that want to be closer to home to finish out their career is the constant. Stormo was a huge exception to that rule, but we got Gaines, Platek, Johnson and even Rogers mainly because of location and some familiarity with the program. We got Martin because he grew up 90 min from the Arena. Baer & Tertesa are strictly here because of past relationships involving Carm. So I wouldn’t expect Polynice to come east.

Taelon Martin and his CSI teammates take the floor tomorrow night in Hutchinson, Kansas as they face Harcum in a first round game in the NJCAA National Tournament.
It appears that his teammate Chance Polynice, son of former NBA player Olden, committed to Long Beach State in January.

Wonder if he will be watching Taelon’s teammate Daylen Williams, 6’8 and 195 and reportedly the holder of a 3.8 GPA.

Unfortunately this program is a shadow of it’s former self, we are going on well over a decade of irrelevance. Staff has been in a nonstop state of flux, & the roster has constant turnover. It’s getting harder and harder to follow this product and take it seriously as a program that wants to be a solid competitive mid-major.

Carm is NOT well-liked among the players. I'm sure it's evident to recruits. The guys don't like the favoritism Carm shows to some

Fran left in 2010, at the pinnacle of Siena basketball. In the past 12 years the program is a shell of what it was then.

Any details to share? I can't say who but I know as a point of fact that at least 2 players left due to not liking Carm. Don't know about the others, but full confirmation of at least 2 Carm recruited players that left specifically because of him.

Ok you can’t say who, but did the who tell you what the specific problem with Carm was?
