Spokane, St Louis, and Tampa are the other sites that play Thursday/Saturday. We do not want Siena in any of those locations as they would potentially be playing at the same time Albany is hosting.

For people that want to see Siena get up to the 15 line, would probably need 3 of the following to occur:
America East won by someone other than Vermont or possibly Stony Brook Atlantic Sun won by someone other than Liberty or North Florida Big South won by someone other than Radford or Winthrop Big West won by someone other than UCI or UCSB Horizon won by someone other than Wright State or Northern Kentucky Ohio Valley won by someone other than Belmont, Murray State, or Austin Peay Patriot won by someone other than Colgate or possibly Boston U Southland won by someone other than Stephen F Austin Summit won by someone other than South Dakota State, North Dakota State, or possibly South Dakota WAC won by someone other than New Mexico State
None of those scenarios seem especially promising but inevitably at least 1 or 2 will happen, 3 might be a stretch.

Good news for fans and the TUC hosting this year. BEER will be available to the entire arena, unlike 2003.

It should also depend on Siena's record going in - if they squeak in by winning the tourney with a so-so record, I can see them going to Dayton. If they win out from here, they would be on a 12-game winning streak with a 22-10 record, which should bump up their RPI. That, along with upsets in a couple other league tourneys, would seem to warrant a 15-seed or better. I'm not expecting that to happen, but the point is their own rating could still move up some if they find ways to win on the road.

There is a huge gap right now between them and the two teams ahead of them, Winthrop (17-9) with a 138 NET and New Mexico State (19-6) with a 128 NET. Siena is 14-10 with a 176 NET so would be virtually impossible to pass either of those teams if they win their conference tournaments which means Siena would still be third in line to move up to a 15 seed. Now, you are right that if we win out we can knock a few teams like Stony Brook, Boston U, South Dakota, Northern Kentucky, North Florida off the list of teams that could burn us by winning their conference championships and open up more opportunities to move up with a big upset in say the Missouri Valley.

They don’t just compare NETs. They also look at conference strength. We’d probably avoid Dayton if we finish strong. We might dodge the 16 depending. I’d guess 16 line but no Dayton like Iona last year.

Only one it could is against the Big South but Winthrop has a win at St Mary's and played tough at Duke. A 1 seed would and should be livid if they got stuck playing Winthrop while Siena was on the 15 line.

Michigan seton hall rematch of the 1989 championship game.

[/quote] Agree with first part, but is it really a “rematch” if the previous game was played thirty years ago, and none of the players who will be in the game were born when the previous game was played?
