What’s next: Annual Basketball Banquet ... should be a hot ticket this year ... especially the introductions- old or new :-)

So what happens Monday morning? Do Jimmy and staff report to work as usual, and carry on with whatever the typical daily tasks are for s basketball team in mid-April? Or have they all been told to stay away from their offices in the ARC?

No one has been fired or suspended, so if i was an assistant, I'd strut in there like George Constanza when he quit in front of the whole company on a Friday, but changed his mind and showed up Monday. Patsos should stay away this entire week.

I fear that this will drag on. Not good. A law firm from Syracuse is doing the investigation. May not be out of the realm of possibility they find JP not liable, at least to the point of dismissal.

I think more likely than not it is resolved this week. Pretty awkward workplace until this is resolved. If no one is suspended, have to assume that the expectation is that everyone involved has to be at the work site and “working”. If they aren’t, that had to be cause for some type of lower-level discipline. And if the non-work continues, could soon lead to suspensions. Has to be extremely uncomfortable for the coaching staff and the other folks in the Athletics Department who they interact with every day.

I heard Vandenburgh saying that he was going to have on later this morning Mike Koenig, a former Assistant US Attorney and now a well know criminal defense attorney who was going to talk "about the Siena situation." I did not hear the interview itself. I know PV likes to churn nothing into something all the time but that kind of discussion is a bad look for sure.

@scottknapp12 2. Also I hate to say this but many of my fellow Siena fans are delusional if they think the Siena job is considered what it once was among up and coming coaches. Quinnipiac pays Dunleavy 800k and top asst 250k. Our assts combined make less than 250k.

question for anyone on here-why are none of the TU stories available on the blog page for viewers to respond?

That's a good percentage. He's right though. Quinny is the real elite MAAC job. The only advantage Siena has on them is fans. Once they find some real success and develop support, they could leap to the A10 before we ever could. Until Siena can expand enrollment and post-grad programs they're going to continue to fall behind even peer institutions.
