Yup. Walsh is an employment law attorney. Holy Cross and Gtown grad. His partner, Davenport, is a Siena grad. This could get ugly (uglier).

First of all, there should be at at will employment clause if any coach in his 5th year of a program can't go .500 or have some performance related metric that they are measured against. Don't you all who still work have performance criteria tied to your employment?

The HC/Staff behaviors and management are what led to the team being 8-24, young, not D-1 recruits or whatever other excuse you want to make. You have to cut to the root cause here.

Doesn’t matter if the kid was asked to come forward because the admins caught wind or he did it on his own. The issue at hand is pretty simple .. is it true. Makes you wonder what other issues are lurking and what else has been unearthed? Bottom line and again it’s pretty simple .. did he violate the terms of his contact and has the College/Attorneys been able to document it adequately ... if so, Jumbo is toast. This isn’t rocket science.

As soon as he's moved out of the ARC I will be signing my Saints Alive donation check and getting premium seats. When we bring in new coach, I'll buy premium seats again Don't do that, Tony! I enjoyed having you as a neighbor for several games this past season.

First of all, there should be at at will employment clause if any coach in his 5th year of a program can't go .500 or have some performance related metric that they are measured against. Don't you all who still work have performance criteria tied to your employment? I am fully retired and SHE is very precise about about her work expectations for me..
