Who are your TOP 4 ?! and why ? Oh..Siena 2003 you have enacted the mating call to MTS for an onslaught of Andy Toole video clips! I'll bite. Paulsen - he brings his own video "Motion Offense for Beginners" Toole- I like his post game pressers and attitude of making the players all responsible, but I think he is too young for this fan base... Roland Houston - just like what I think he could bring...

How about another FF retread... lets get 3 or 4 years out of Paul Cormier, Siena can probably hire him cheap- he runs a similar system to Mitch so the fans will be familiar with his style

There will be many names in the mix. I believe the application pool will be overflowing in the Spring. Touche sky...Paul was 35 when he came to Siena. But a lot has changed since 1998 and remember, Lanier was young in the 'Hewitt' mold so...
Like Goldilocks, I think we'll be looking at not too young...not too old but just right. I'm going give an advantage to the 40-50 year old.

I thought we wanted the board of directors to appoint a basketball brain trust to consider candidates and now we seem to be circumventing that process to have a bunch of casual, albeit extremely concerned, fans undertake the process. Interesting conversation starter none the less. ;-)

A name I hope will be considered is Bob Walsh, the very successful coach of Rhode Island College. He is frequently mentioned in the articles of the local basketball writers and columnist Bill Reynolds as deserving of a D-I position.

As a fan of all college hoops, I will be on the lookout for all the guys whose names hit this board suggested by people like me...fans of college hoops.

I like Tobin but if/when a change is made I'm sure a clean sweep will be made. If that's the case I would like the powers that be to inquire as to interest Jerry Mc Namara would have. He was an outstanding offensive player, son of a coach, and won't get the Syracuse job as it's promised to Mike Hopkins. He could get the top assistant which would probably pay equal or more than the Siena head coach. Our AD might not want to touch a Syracuse guy after the Louie Orr experiment fizzled out.
