Fouls need to be cut in half ASAP. How can you give an opposing team that kind of disparity and expect to win games...... Mind blowing. agreed- but easier said than done- in addition to playing 4 freshmen( who never get a call) Silas is also foul prone, this team is a work in progress Tony - with all due respect, IMHO the foul 'issue' yesterday was on the stripes as much as any one player on our team. I mean really, we had 8 FT's, La Salle had 32. Several calls on our guys were questionable to say the least and Lavon was mugged three times in the closing minutes yet no whistle was blown. I am the biggest advocate of winning with the ball and not whining at the stripes which is what the kids were doing up to the two three point daggers that Duren hit at 6:10 and 5:32. At 5:30 Jimmy subs in Wright and White. I'm no coach but at that point, I felt the game was out of our hands and into theirs. Marquis is still making huge adjustments to the D1 college game and White has to loose a little of his 'street ball' mentality. Again, just my 2 cents from behind the bench water cooler.

Siena also doesn't currently have enough slashers to get in the lane/to the rim to get fouled. White is about it and having only one makes it pretty easy to prepare for defensively I think KK would disagree with that statement-- can I have a point counter point discussion here, please give us your view on this kk? Sour much?

Audu? Ahem cough cough.....red shirt....... I wouldn't make the classes more uneven than they already are Jimmy said on the coaches show before the game that Audu will be back in a week. As poorly as some guards are playing, I'd be shocked if Audu redshirted, even if he only plays sporadic minutes. I'm starting to agree with the ones who thought Wolfe should redshirt, though. 6 minutes in one game, about 30 seconds each in the other 2, seems like a waste. Especially as Javion gets more comfortable.

I meant to help him....... with a transfer for next year much like Hopper and there's still a logjam at the 2. Wolfe, IMO should get more minutes, use him or lose him.

Hopper wasn't going to play anyways, no reason not to redshirt. Audu can and will give the team minutes. Jimmy is still getting paid to win, he can't redshirt his whole team. There is a logjam at the 2, but none are playing well enough to warrant redshirting Audu, with his athleticism and length.

Well if Hymes keeps pissing Patsos off Rich may get some time. But what of next year? Hymes Cole Audu Oliver and White = "Logjam". I'd imagine Cole White and Hymes will see the majority of the minutes. Leaves a couple guys at the wrong end of the bench.

Aside from the obvious desire to be able, at some time in the future, to thump your chest and loudly proclaim "See, I told you so," what possible benefit can be gained by comments like this one? Seriously, what do you hope to accomplish? There will be at least 13 players on our bench next year and the year after that and the year after that and several of them will be "at the wrong end of the bench"! I am certain these kids see (everyday) the potential "logjam" and I would hope, given that we actually hire coaches and pay them to evaluate and plan for the long term that they are also well aware of it. Why do some on this board feel the need to continually point it out and draw conclusions that don't have a basis in ALL of the facts.. It's there and it will work itself out or others will drive a solution. Can't we just critique the games and stop throwing fuel on the chemistry of this team? It's going to be tough enough winning games without making sure they each have to worry about their own teammates in addition to the other five on the floor!

I get where you're coming from, but let's face it, this is a message board for people that love this team, and college. 99% of us aren't attached emotionally to the kids, and when recruiting/playing time comes up, no one is trying to hurt anyones feelings, but the topic is very relevant and is a good topic for debate, and or discussion.
We're 0-3 and frustration has already set in. When that happens, ways to improve the team come to the forefront. More quality players are needed, and thats evident already. JP has us on the right path, but as you guys know, we can't fully judge him until he gets TWO of his recruiting classes together. So that means, the next class he brings in is VITAL to the future of this program. That very well may include having some of Mitchs recruits finding another place to play.
It's tough sometimes, but we all need to remember this is a big money business.

Does anyone think this roster is going to be the same next year? I just don't get the "you can't mention that if your a fan" mentality. It's all out there for discussion. Sorry if I hurt your, a players or anyone else's feelings.

Has nothing to do with feelings or the view that someone's feelings are hurt - just my concern that the very fragile chemistry on this team cannot be helped by comments like some on this board. I know it's a business but it's also the coach's business and speculation that is negative and unfounded can't, IMO, help HIS business, let alone our investment in it. JMO!

Any one of those players can play this year and still leave after the year. They are all on scholarship now, it doesn't benefit Siena to sit them if they can contribute and it doesn't benefit the player to sit if this is his last shot at D1 ball. He needs to come out and prove himself if he wants to stay at Siena or if he wants a new home.

Fragile chemistry......... My goodness, our comments are not going to influence the chemistry of the team or the coaches. I guess there is nothing left to talk about. See ya at the game.

That is certainly possible - elevates our "importance" - LOL!. Since you have your "thinking" hat on - do you think Chaulkie gets toasted in the finale? Odd that the good Doctor and Chaulkie's daughter were not in last night's episode (unless I missed it).
