I didn’t watch the game, but did listen to it on the radio. It sounded like La Salle was playing man and the Saints played more zone than man. How does this happen: ………….FT Siena….5-8 LaSalle..24-32 And LaSalle took 23 threes Don’t you play zone to stay out of foul trouble? …………………FT……………….PF Albany…..28-36…..Siena .26 Vermont..33-42…..Siena. 37 LaSalle….24-32…….Siena. 24

Duren lights everybody up. he does but Duren e scored 10 straight point on Hymes-- ( and that was the ball game as they say) that is the problem with Evan.. he gave us some good BB tonight- but when things got tight-- he made some bad decisions and his non existent defense cost us Not sure it was entirely Evan's fault. The team forced him to shoot from 3 they entire 1st half. Think he only had 1 point or something like then in 2nd half started driving the ball. The team allowed this not just Evan. In hind sight the team should have continued to force him to shoot from outside.

They shot 32 ft....we shot 8....thought we had it...first time seeing this team...I like what I see!!!! That's the game right there. The refs simply call it a little more fair & Siena wins. Unofficial FTs made Siena 5, LaSalle like 24.

You have to be encouraged by this game after the stinker at UVM. I had hoped for Ws against UA and Vermont but had figured this for a L and maybe a blowout. I'm encouraged. If we played the way we played today against Albany & VT we'd be 2-1. We're going to continue to get better. Give'm time. We'll be fine.

Missing that late game spark off the bench. Jimmy said it in the post game, we need a scorer.

KK I like Evan-- But I recognize him for what he is. Wright is a pure PG, Hymes is not, Evan has to commit to playing defense. Evan will play some point this year --well because he has to. Evan can score and he can score in bunches if he plays under control. Evan just needs to consistently play hard on defensive end of the floor. As for Wright-- c'mon he is a freshmen 3 games into his career. As the only pure PG on team, we need Wright on the floor. I'm still excited about team- Freshmen will continue to grow, Oliver had his best game to date today- so hopefully he is getting comfortable with his role, Bisping is playing solid ( and no he isnt better than JO or Silas) but we still need him to give us some min. Hymes had his best game yet under Jimmy-- we need him to continue to accept his role, because we need Evan to be a solid back up to have a decent year For you personally -- and this is just friendly advice- you need to accept fact Hymes- Oliver- Bisping are anywhere from 6th to 9th man on team right now..and that's not a bad thing in Jimmy's system I don't care. I'm just here to keep the peeps from overly trashing kids. Come on. Hymes has a good game and he gets thrown under the frickin' bus. Get off your high horses and say good game once in while. Everyone lays off the new kid, but trashes the returning guys even when they have a good game. The team needs both. It's evident. Jimmy's guys don't shoot, Mitch's guys aren't great defenders. We need them BOTH. Accept the players for what they are. this his is my first post after reading many over the past few months. I would like to start off by echoing KK's extremely valid and warranted suggestion. Just my feelings, too. thanks

I think we do have it perspective..Evan probably had his best game to date un der Jimmy .. But he had some defensive lapses at a bad time-- you asked what happened to Hymes..Jimmy has said all along if you dont play defense you dont play -- and its not all on Hymes-- for the most part a lot of positives to take out of this game. I kind of liked the big line up with Lavon at the 3, it creates mis matches for Saints- but Siena has to take advantage of it. I'm feeling good about a win on Tuesday vs the bonnies Bad defensive lapses at the worst possible time. Yeah he had a game with good stats BUT....... I dont like a 5 7 2 guard especially when your pg who is LISTED at 6' (NOT) is on the floor, that back court is just too small. You get killed on D. Hell I'm not even crazy about Hymes running the backup point but he's the only option this year. JP will be recruiting another PG I keep hearing there is a very good chance we will see another strong pg wearing the Green & Gold next year.

Fouls need to be cut in half ASAP. How can you give an opposing team that kind of disparity and expect to win games...... Mind blowing.

Siena also doesn't currently have enough slashers to get in the lane/to the rim to get fouled. White is about it and having only one makes it pretty easy to prepare for defensively

Audu has that ability but not the wheels right now! He has worked on both his handle and control and should get some minutes when the ankle allows it.
