This argument is entertaining, but perhaps pointless until Poole finishes his career.
I loved Owen as a Saint; he was an athletic freak. Despite that, he routinely got beaten off the dribble on the perimeter. But then he would trail his man and block the shot from behind ridiculously often. Without fouling! I've never seen anyone block so many shots from behind. It was very bittersweet to see him play his best two games as the final games of his career. Where the hell was that when we needed it earlier?!
I think Rob will prove to have a better shooting percentage by the time he wraps up his career. He could be the better overall player, given the superior handle, rebounding and passing.
Rob had a bad second half on Friday. He was trying to do too much when the half court O took a nap. Hopefully Jimmy can breathe some more life into the half court offense soon.
Oh yeah - and get Rob some new f*ckin' shoes more suitable for basketball than tap dancing!

I think most of you guys need to upgrade your seats (even the "owned suites") to see both ends of the game. Poole is a warrior, plain and simple, and a good one at that. The kid has the heart and the skill to be a first teamer... hockeyguy 11/10/13 And thank you Mr Clack for your unbiased assesment. This coming from the hillbilly that sent me a PM saying my problem is "You don't think white kids can play basketball!" ?? I'm comparing him to another white guy MORON!! (I can't make this shit up!) At least you admitted out loud you had Poole 1st team All-MAAC last year before his tummy ache (What a warrior!) You need a new seat at the game..... one NOT up this kids a$$! My true take on this whole subject will be on this page tomorrow/today.

What tummy ache. The kid lost double digit pounds in less than 10 days last year when he had a viral influenza. Hardly a tummy ache. He looked like the walking dead the night MB made him get out of bed and go to the TUC. In fact he was vomiting so bad Hammer had to treat him and a manager bought him back to campus about 10 minutes into the game. We get it, you don't think he's talented even though he spent his first two years here on a rudderless ship that was designed to do nothing more than showcase OD. But don't attack his character or misconstrue the severity of his illness last year as a simple tummy ache.

Just an FYI Phil Valenti at 6-7 195 lb grabbed 10 boards for the Griffs last night. 6-7 195 isn't a whole lot different than 6-9 200lbs. Let Wolfe play..........
Although Valenti did redshirt last year and is totally familiar with their system.

I thnk Wolfes problems may be more mental, than physical. Once he figures out HOW to play, he'll get more minutes.
