Uh oh ... Here we go again! Only 4 more yrs before this topic dies! It will only take the first game to end this convo....Lavon will show what his skill set is and the folks that have not believed what has been written or what the HC has said will see for themselves since the videos did not do the trick for you either...nothing left for me to say...

Can somebody else talk about the long besides his mother None of us are that "long" winded!!!! KK is Just wait for the games to start and judge every player on what they do.. not how big or small they are....I cant help but respond when folks claim Lavon's size makes him less skilled than he actually is....I am sure he will get killed on here like everyone else when he has a bad game and I will not have anything to say.....all thats happening now is speculation and that's fine...just know that an Opinion is never a fact...in sports there are winners and losers...let the games begin..

The two terms are not mutually exclusive. They refer to two different skill sets, but a player can be both, or can be one without being the other. The term face-up forward refers to how a particular forward tends to score on offense as I previously explained. A point forward is usually described as a forward (either a small forward or a power forward) who possesses the ball handling skills and court vision to bring the ball up the court and to initiate the team's offense as well as a point guard can. Edwin Ubiles and Prosper Karangawa, both 6'7, are the last two Siena players I can recall whose games fit both terms. If we continue to see Poole running the point as a third option behind Hymes, we'll be adding Poole to that list. Prosper Karangwa was never, in any way, a forward. He could play the 1, 2, or 3. If you don't think he ever played at the 3, you obviously didn't follow his pro career in Europe.

A pt forward runs the pt from the PF position ...when a SF does it he is considered a guard in a three guard offense...and that is what Poole did and was playing as a pg.....when LeBron James does it from the PF spot he is a pt forward and there is a pg on the floor with him....having a PF on the floor taking the ball out and setting up on top across from the pg on offense is a popular set in College.....a face up 4 will pick and roll or pick and pop or make direct drives to the basket....a Pt forward will actually set up the offense like a pg along with everything else...the DD offense works best with a skilled 4 man in the backcourt being a matchup problem on O and defending the PF on D....Terrence Jones killed in that role in College at 6'9.....we can agree to disagree but that position is one that I have being paying close attention to for the last several years...my teams always ran motion type offenses

Do the admins have the ability to close a thread. If so, this one is most definitely a prime candidate. I think the same things have been repeated and covered ad nauseam.

Which makes we wonder if Guiness has a world record for the longest ambilical cord? Baltimore to Albany is rather long
