Oklahoma obviously doesn't have the bagman that Siena has. ;-)

Shocking…… not. Just more hired gun nonsense, no one is immune.

this is hilarious. But jeez, how much does he think he can get? Didn't he get 5 or 6 figures from OK? not that it matters, but that is a bit surprising to me...3rd team in 3 years

Oklahoma is a top 50 program maybe he wants to go to a program that has a better chance of getting to the NCAA tournament. He has proven he can play at any P6 conference.

Couple that with other impactful Sooners already announcing their departures, and Javian basically used this past season as proof of concept that he can produce at a high major level, I don't see a reason why he wouldn't be open to other opportunities.

I saw Fran Fraschilla say College Basketball is starting to operate like European Pro basketball right now, which I think rings true. If you have a good year you move up, if you have a bad year you move down. Javian only has a year left of eligibility so if he thinks he can potentially double his NIL elsewhere, hitting the portal makes sense. This style of transfer isn’t healthy for the sport but it makes perfect sense for the individual player.
Javian will likely make enough money to pay for his own degree after his career but in general I’m interested to see if schools will let kids who transferred two and three times return to their schools to get degrees free of charge. I assume scores of these kids aren’t graduating and many of them won’t be successful pros.

If not, with the cash they get from the colleges and any pro level they at play after their eligibility, they can finish up at any time. Much like Bennerman.

Well I thought the general standard was that a guy like Bennerman didn’t have to pay to complete his degree. I could be wrong but generally I thought they let 4 year players come back to complete their degree for free.
