So lay out the min for each of the 10 guys in the rotation then..... PG: Pickett 32, Carpenter 8 SG: Carey 20, King 15, Carpenter 5 SF: Harris 30, Camper 5, Carey 5 PF: Camper 25, Tate 10, Golson 5 C: Tate 10, TBD 15 Young 15 BK could be a RS possibility. I'm expecting a lot more pressure D next year, Harris will be far more effective in that scheme at 20-24 per game. PG - Pickett 35, Carpenter 5 SG - Carpenter 20, Carey 10, King 10 SF - Harris 20, Carey 10, Camper 10 PF - Camper 25, Golson 10, Tate 5 C - Tate 15, Young 15, Golson 10

This necessitated playing JP crazy minutes all season. I hope that the addition of Carpenter and the maturing of King will allow Carm to rest JP enough to keep his minutes down to 32 or a little less. (Carey is not a PG.)

Carey made a lot of passes where I think he just didn’t look defenders off. It wouldn’t surprise me if he took care of the ball better next year. He just needs to settle down a bit and be sneakier about what he’s going to do.

He was a freshman the year prior and was away from game-mode for an entire season and now with a new coach in a new system. I expect big improvements next season, he definitely showed flashes of the player he can be down the stretch. He’s got the all the right tools.

I think, with Pickett, Carpenter, Carey, and King ...the ball control is better next year. They’ll be more comfortable with each other and their roles. Adding Carpenter and a year should only help. Camper may even go ape on assists too as a senior. Tate has a positive career assist ratio as well. I love Harris on D and in transition but he just doesn’t do well in the half court...and does not really set up others.

I agree that Harris didn't show much in half court this year, but I'm curious to see what happens with the sophomore bump. Although of course now with no college weight room and coaching for the spring that may not be as pronounced this year... Regardless, Harris provided some valuable energy and toughness this year. The last few games it felt like he was constantly making all the little spark plays we needed- key offensive rebound, block, or rushing after loose balls. There is always room for a player like that in your rotation.

Yes, I’ve heard this rumor multiple times as well. I don’t want him to leave. I want him to develop. If he had even Carey’s ball skills he’d be in the NBA. If he had Pickett’s, he’d go top 5.

Don’t think Harris is going anyplace. That rumor was early in the year when he wasn’t playing a lot.

The key with a kid that far away is keeping him 2 years so it lessons the chance he ll wanna sit out a year for 2 years of play. I think he’d be a big loss. Hope he stays put.

Good for Manny to get some feedback...he's a junior and it makes sense. Just don't know what process there will be this year. More and more guys are trying it out to get feedback. Fully expect him back next year!

Back on topic. Since some here had slated Sutherland as a potential starter or likely significant contributor preseason I could see it as a surprise that he got so little time. Sometimes the surprise is on the negative side.
