For those out of the Capitol Region area, Fox Sports Go will have the game to stream.

Definitely take Siena. I can’t see any team beating Siena by 20, this year.

... I'm actually more afraid of Siena's defense right now. Saints fouled too much vs. American and ... . Also, televised games (non-MAAC vs MAAC games) usually don’t get that many fouls called in an effort to keep the game on schedule. Did you tell that to the refs at the MSU/UK game on Tuesday? 42 fouls called that game. UK took 32 FTs.

The refs seemed to change what they considered a foul very late in 1st half and most of the 2nd half. Siena got the better end of the calls in 1st half both ways (fouls called against American and non-calls where Siena could have been called). In 2nd half American received the non-call fouls and the non-calls Siena got in1st we’re now being called. American coach got the refs attention in 1st half. Siena didn’t adjust and therefore were called for more fouls in 2nd half that they weren’t getting called earlier. I doubt the Big East refs will be as picky and mainly call the more obvious fouls. That will allow both teams to play more physical. Also, televised games (non-MAAC vs MAAC games) usually don’t get that many fouls called in an effort to keep the game on schedule. I doubt Siena gets called for as many fouls as they did against American. Careful with that prediction. Refs are notorious for making BS calls with teams like Siena going on the road to a team like Xavier. Can’t recall the last time the officiating in a buy game didn’t clearly favor the home team

For the most part televised games (not in the MAAC but in the big 6 conferences) normally don’t have a lot of fouls called.

Can’t recall the last time the officiating in a buy game didn’t clearly favor the home team I didn’t suggest/imply that the calls would go for or against Siena only stating what I saw in the American game. KK said we fouled too much, I simply stated what I saw; which was the refs started calling fouls on Siena that weren’t called in 1st half and vice versus (fouls called on American in 1st half weren’t called as much in 2nd). I assumed the refs were trying to even up in the 2nd half, IMO.

Most televised games over the years normally resulted in fewer fouls called compared to non-televised games (excluding tournament type games); at least for the bigger conferences.

I just happened to have watched that game earlier today, so it was a funny reference for me. Side note, did anyone actually watch that Cuse/UVA game? I don't have ACCN so I didn't, but I was curious if it was as bad as the box score implied.

Sounded like the entire team basically shot poorly. Of course playing the national champs first game would be tough for any team. Anyone else think Boeheim has outlived his tenure? I’m ready for a new coach and I’m not even a Cuse fan.

It's never a good thing when you have 5 points with 8 minutes left to half time. UVA did the same thing at NC State last year and held them to 24 for the ENTIRE game. Personally I think Syracuse is gonna be terrible this year but it is only one game into the season so you never really know

Every team in the country knows how he will play, and what it takes to beat him. He never seems to change his system, regardless of how his team is doing.

Sorry I did what I hate to do - got way off topic of Xavier.
