Help do what? Pickett's laundry? Lol... kid is skinny as hell but he is bouncy and long for a 6-5 kid. Who knows if he’s going to be useful but why waste his entire year to play garbage time when he’s not ready? He might be good at 23.

This may be the key to Siena's long term success. 23 year old walk ons.

No, it's a key to Siena's future long term (hopefully) success as a result of having a head coach that "gets it" - Siena is there FOR ITS STUDENTS and he wants to bring them back ala the ARC years while also demonstrating loyalty to those that help grow and develop his teams...OBTW, the laundry gets done by the managers and we've seen them grow into other roles...

It will probably help the kid down the road if he decides to transfer down to a D-2 or D-3 school. Smart to maintain his 4 years for his future whether it’s here or somewhere else.

Help do what? Pickett's laundry? Not nice, at least unnecessary.

Please consider that Sammy has not had the opportunity to play in the JC system as much as Evan has. Sammy may not have been utilized correctly much like Evan, Degnan, and let’s go with Lavon Long (who I think would have been a stats freak under JC). JC may be able to get Sammy to career heights. That assumes Sammy uses his 2 (hopefully if redshirt is granted) years of eligibility at Siena. I am not saying he is bad, I am saying that one game against Louisville does not a career make. He hasn't been able to replicate the Louisville game (or, really, get even close to it) in about 30 games after it. Hope I'm wrong, but my money is still on Young being ahead of him. Looking forward to the competition. It's going to be fun!

Help do what? Pickett's laundry? Not nice, at least unnecessary. Taking this a bit too seriously.

That, or coaching staff see something in him that could help a D1 program (but just needs additional time and/or muscle). Either way, it doesn’t hurt. It’s not like he’s on scholarship, or we wasted a scholarship on a project. I only see positive reasons for this action of RS’ing him.

thanks, just wondered...………..and what exactly is the injury to Darwiche? Tweaked something in his leg when he went in for the closing seconds of the Iona game since he wasn’t fully loose. Not sure if it’s a Hammy, groin, Achilles, or what.
