Atlantic City has won the right to host the conference tournament. Going to be another disaster just like in Springfield then will likely go back to the TU center

AC is a destination. I was born in Springfield and have had some good times there but it is not similar to AC.
The tournament needs to rotate. They will lose money in some venues, make some money in others and then make more in Albany.

It's too bad we didn't make hay while the tournament was here. Yet another squandered opportunity.

It's too bad we didn't make hay while the tournament was here. Yet another squandered opportunity. We still have the upcoming season at the TU center for the conference tournament. After watching what happened this past season it's safe to say ANYTHING can happen in this tournament

I think AC was the best choice for the league if you are not picking Albany- Nassau did not draw well for their tripleheader.
Be interesting if Rider/Monmouth/St Peters can rally interest when the tournament is played there.

AC would actually probably work if it were a Friday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday tournament. Ending on Saturday I can't see it drawing much. I'm not going to take off half a week of work to go down and watch the tourney. If it were Friday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday tourney I would definitely go at least one of the years.

AC--ugh! I may head down if we're in the championship game, but not otherwise. I may be in the minority, but I would much rather go to Springfield, Uniondale, Bridgeport, Trenton--you name it--other than Atlantic City.

I for one will not travel to AC for the MAAC tourney no matter how well Siena is playing. Too far. The years it is there games will be enjoyed watching on TV. Cannot image they will have any success down there.

Is sports gambling allowed there? Only way it will work.

Is sports gambling allowed there? Only way it will work. I had seen something that said gambling is indeed legalized but not allowed on college sports

Is sports gambling allowed there? Only way it will work. Probably - the MAAC is certainly gambling with the move...Ensor is getting on the edge of white dog crap and likely wants his final "shows" to be close to home...at least the move will allow more definite planning in those years - go anywhere and watch us on the tube (tv for you young'uns out there...)
