One thing you guys keep overlooking is conference and talent in that conference. But the question is does those numbers translate to the MAAC.Better athletes and maybe better coaching.Don't overlook that,i want to see success also. But I'm also going to be open minded.

Yes, the fact is he won a good percentage of his NEC games. The question is how well he adapts to the new league and whether he gets better talent and can out coach his peers at the MAAC level. There are statistical concerns but if he has learned and adapted, maybe he can take a step forward. He may be able to improve upon himself now that he has experience. Some coaches get a lot better with age...see Fran. He was mediocre at Lehigh and UNCG.

Whatever we get out of of JC's system factoring in all the these stats, it's gotta be better than what we got out of JP the last 5 years right? I mean up is the only direction we can go. Can't get much worse.
I'd have loved to compare Fran's stats at his stops before Siena and his five years in Loudonville. People had similar concerns about him given his middling record and he was a home run hire. Even a comparison between Siena and Iowa would be enlightening. It could be telling if coaches are consistent or not in these metrics through changes in jobs and level of competition.

Well, isn't that the question for every coach that makes a move up in conference? You can only compare him against the competition he up against. You have to believe that he will be able to recruit maac level talent, there is no reason to assume that he wouldn't given his success recruiting to the Mount. Question is whether he'll be able to use the advantages that Siena affords on the recruiting trail. Hewitt, Lanier and Fran were all able to. Mitch and JP were not. (Orr gets an incomplete score. Lanier recruited very well but didn't manage the program particularly well.) We'll see.

He was mediocre at Lehigh and UNCG. and sometimes we ALL get caught up in numbers................even with Fran, more so as it pointed to a little bit over a .500 W-L record.............but bottom line, he took 2 different programs to the NCAA (now 4 if you include Siena & Iowa), which is tremendous no matter how anyone wants to dissect specific offensive/defensive numbers...................in many ways, the same can be said for JC, who has 2 NCAA scalps on his belt already, of which he got at a very early age/experience level as a head coach..............so much points towards optimism in that regard...........he wins, he wins at home, he recognizes talent that has transferred UP.........numbers only tell part of the story, the results tell another one................

Another positive thing for Jamion is there's just not a lot of great MAAC coaches in the league right now. Cluess is the top dog by far and I think Dunleavy has a bright future. After that next seven coaches are all mediocre to poor. Jamion could be the second best coach in the league within a couple of years.
The new guys of course are Jamion and Holloway at St. Peter's TBD.

Yeah I'm really interested in this year. What can he do with what he has.How will players develop that's what i want to see.I don't know or think any players he brings in known can make a impact next year. But i could be wrong it's what he does with what he has I'm more curious about.

But, it's hard not to feel good and be positive about an exciting and hard working young coach that actually recruits. And recruits hard!!! GO Saints!!!
