Fantastic. Another ship available for Jamion to bring his own people in. Everyone is thinking backwards. Agreed I do t care who stays and goes...this group won 8 games. New coach, time for some new faces!

New coach, time for some new faces! I don't know a lot about D1 basketball, but this hockeyguy thinks his feet were way too slow from the few games I saw him.

Some on this board make me shake my head--Prince is getting nothing but high major looks yet some guys think he has slow feet--LOL.. I agree we won 8 games last year- so not to worried about who goes other than fact hard to get quality players this late in game

Prince is a loss. I find it hard to believe there was so much of relationship with Patsos that he’s transferring. I think it’s an opportunity for him to move up and Patsos on the outs is his chance to say see ya Siena. Patsos was his patsy.

If Prince does head south, you wish him the best. Was not a fan of his free throw shooting- he could never be a beast in the paint without it.

Actually was hopefull that Prince Nico Horn Penn and Camper would be the nucleus next year. That’s not working out. Prince is a typical yound big, think we would have seen a step up this year. Horn I liked he’s not the most athletic or agile but he’s scrappy and can shoot. Anything official on his move? I’ve seen nothing on the VC or other web searches.
Let’s see what JC can pull off going forward.

I’m indifferent to Prince leaving. He’s not a rim runner and he’s not a shooter. In JC’s system, he’s less likely to get the post feed. He might me the guy who fits the system the least on the team. It’s not like he grabbed boards either so the guy is better off sitting out and developing somewhere for a year.
The facts are that he was one of the least efficient offensive players on the team last year. Taking 10 shot to get 11 pts isn’t good.

The only reason I disagree is that he has a lot of raw talent and I think he could develop and grow more under JC. That 10 shots/11 points is under a system that threw/dribbled the ball on the perimeter for 25-30 seconds. Would like to see what he could do in the new system.

There were only 7 teams in the nation who took more 3's as a % of their offense than MSM did last year. If you wanted to see post scoring, we should have hired a different coach.

If you wanted to see post scoring, we should have hired a different coach. So there's no room for big men who don't shoot 3s? You never know. He may be a coach willing to adapt and change as he changes leagues and/or players. Iona with JW was 21st and 39th..respectively in threes as a % of offense...so it IS possible...although JW was a freak at both scoring and rebounding who only really played 15 mpg...and did all his damage in that time. The 25 mpg he didn't play...they just gunned and gunned. And Laury was a point forward who ended up shooting a fair amount of threes, he doesn't really count as in the same category as an Oduro. JC will have to try to be a potentially better ballhawking Iona with his style. That's his avenue to success....but his offenses have never been Tim Cluess good....

Speculation is over with Prince as well. Best of luck to him wherever he goes. Will be visiting USF Wednesday Siena transfer Prince Oduro tells me he's considering Mississippi State, South Florida, New Mexico, Seton Hall, and UMass. Just visited Mississippi State. #shbb Per rothstein
