Carleton smoked UNH by 27 tonight. Now 5-2. Play Canisius tomorrow.
Canisius was 3-0 but got beat by UOttawa by 11 tonight.

The game against Siena will be their 5th game in 7 nights. Look at their schedule. We whine about short turnarounds. It's all they do.

www.sienasaints.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/sien-m-baskbl-mtt.htmlRoster has been updated with new heights and weights ahead of the Canada trip. A few takeaways: -Fisher is down to 230, that's 16 pounds lighter than he was last year per Singelais. -Huerter up to 210 pounds. If that's true, at 6-7 he's big enough to give us minutes at the 4. -Prince Oduro is listed at 6-8, 253. That is a BIG dude, especially given how strong he is (i.e. It's not just baby fat). He is going to be able to throw his body around and use his size to create space for himself. -Shivers is down about 10 pounds from last year, hopefully that gives him that extra bit of quickness to get by his man easier.

I think I liked Oduro better at 230. Anosike was 241 at his heaviest for us. I feel like he should drop at least 10.

Yeah i agree maybe 240 he probably drop some before regular season and the 10pounds lost for shivers will help out quickness

Guys like Welton and Washington were over 250 last year...so probably ok. I just think his upside would be higher if he was as bouncy as he was a year or 2 ago.
I'd be very happy with a Welton-like 12 & 8 out of Oduro.
His FIBA stats prorated to 12.5 & 7.8 over 30 mins for what it's worth...and he wasn't really a focal point.

Most freshmen bigs either need to add 10+ pounds or drop 10+ pounds. Based on the FIBA games I watched it didn't look like he was out of shape, though I would like to see him improve his jumping ability a bit. My guess is his ideal playing weight is about 240-245, so that 10 pound drop would probably be pretty good for him.

I mostly worry about him being a step slower and getting into more foul trouble....a big issue given our depth. He fouled 4.6 times per 30 minutes in FIBA...something to look out for.
