Except Albany can't HALF fill their current 4500 arena, but you keep going with that theory 😜......and I love how 6800 is a "bad" night of attendance in the MAAC! 😝😝 Don't be naive. If Albany ever decided to take over the tuc what do you think will happen...the fans attending the Siena games now will be attending the Albany games instead duh. Your starting to attend Albany games yourself so don't say it can't happen. Besides, I never said 6,850 was "bad", just not great. Last year 8k showed up for Marist let's see what happens this year. There would never be a total swing on this. UA would be lucky to pull in 4000 fans a night at the TUC!!!! If you take out the Siena, Vermont and Stonybrook games hey're lucky if they get 2000-2500 at SEFCU now.

UA needs to consistently even come close to selling out their own gym before that's ever an issue. No offense but that's the same kind of thinking as "Albany will never be d1" or "Albany will never beat Siena" or "Albany will never play a game against siena at sefcu". How many former or current Siena Siena season ticket holders bought season tickets for the Great Danes this year, 100, 200?. Let's see how many of those renew even though Siena's not playing.

Siena has had 6 games in the 5,000 range and 1 game in the 4,000 range, and that doesn't even include the bucknell debacle. It does however include the season ticket no shows. The trend is down and will continue that way until something changes.

I disagree. UA has been very successful since they joined D1 yet attendance and interest has barely grown. It won't magically explode now.

We can agree to disagree and I'm not saying it will definitely happen or in the next few years but if Albany had the desire to move up in conference who's to say they don't work out a deal to move to the tuc and grab the 2k walk up that we used to get. They average 3,400 now (up 800 from previous year) that's 5,300. Suddenly not to far off from the Siena crowds. Already Siena fans are attending ualbany games. All I'm saying is something needs to change if Siena wants to rebuild interest in the program.

All this grief after a win. Sun is out ;temperatures on the rise in the Capital District; but those on this venue will say the Blizzard of'88 came in March. For you youngsters 1888.

All I'm saying is something needs to change if Siena wants to rebuild interest in the program. Only because they had Siena at home this year. Once again if you take out the Siena, Vermont and Stonybrook games they're home attendance is pathetic/disapointing. They can't even get the students to attend their games. They should do better but for some confounding reason they don't.
