No apathy here, I'm still rooting for my favorite team. Can't speak for others.

Please go over to Albany!! And make sure you kiss Will Browns ass! If long time supporters like mike c keep leaving pretty soon Albany will be filling the tuc and Siena will be in the nec playing at the arc. Except Albany can't HALF fill their current 4500 arena, but you keep going with that theory 😜......and I love how 6800 is a "bad" night of attendance in the MAAC! 😝😝

It has been a tough stretch for Siena fans since Mitch was hired.
But I am still here on this board because it is my school. I still believe we have one of the better campuses in America for college students. I still believe a Siena education is superior to anyone else's education. I love that facilities are getting upgraded- campus looks good. Heck, I would even want to work on campus to help the next generation of Saints reach greater successes. It is my school.
Additionally, I still believe that all athletic programs will reach their heights one day. I love when we upset a major power school- I love the look of disbelief of other fan's face. That is beauty of Siena Athletics.
I have heard a lot of you wanting to give up season tickets. That is your right to send the message what is happening right now is not acceptable.
But still support in some way. It is hard to continue to stay with something when it is not doing well. Always have an eye on the program. Keep on the board, news, etc. Stay with it.
We have the resources- we need to put those resources together.
One day we will rise. When we do, laughter will begin from others, and they then we realize who they mess with: Siena College. Best college in the United States.

If Albany ever decided to take over the tuc what do you think will happen...the fans attending the Siena games now will be attending the Albany games instead duh. Your starting to attend Albany games yourself so don't say it can't happen. Besides, I never said 6,850 was "bad", just not great. Last year 8k showed up for Marist let's see what happens this year.

No apathy here, I'm still rooting for my favorite team. Can't speak for others. If one is posting here Siena is their favorite team. They may have different levels of passion, looks at the game differently, probably played the game but they love the school and what it stands for. You should be proud of the passion you bring , the way you look at the program is personal. I love your positive attitude. I along with others look at it slightly different but still support the school.

MikeC is a big time Siena fan I remember when he moderated the old Siena board back in the early 2000's on rivals (him and GuyF always went at it). Siena should never have a seven year dip that they've had. D'Arg is the consistent part is all of it. Good coaches like Hewitt and Fran hide D'Arg but Beyer, Lanier, Mitch and Jimmy illustrate why Siena has never been a top mid-major consistently under a weak AD. D'Arg needs to "retire" very soon if Siena is ever going to be a top mid-major in basketball. you keep saying this, you do realize he is only in his 50s right?? For a professionally retired person I can see the confusion, but he is not voluntarily going anywhere, much like your pipedream of JP stepping down before he's canned.

UA needs to consistently even come close to selling out their own gym before that's ever an issue.

Your right he won't step down, can't blame him either for taking the job offer, blame the ones who offered it to him. Hopefully their are clauses in contract that gets the school out of this disaster. This year may turn out 500 but going forward, situation doesn't look good. That being said I have notice that JP has health issues, besides being obese, its obvious he has hard time just speaking if you watch his swallowing and needing to control reflux. Hopefully for his sake he gets these under control, never want to see anyone become ill. The man is not in great physical shape.

At some time in the future the economic impact of continually putting an inferior product on the floor will become an issue ... if basketball can't cover its costs Siena may need to reconsider the division they're playing in ... over the upcoming decade there is going to be a shakeup on many college campuses that has nothing to do w athletics

6,850 tonight which is not great for a Saturday night second to last home game with second place still up for grabs. No where near 6850 in actual attendance last night. unfortunately there's a significant number of season ticket holders that just don't show up anymore.
