Didn't you say he was Better then Kenny? Glad you finally see it. I saw it when they played GW he wasn't as good as Worm. I'm not sure what he does well.

Plain and simple this guy can not coach. The team has no chemistry, can not play defense a lick!

Don't you get it? I can tell you just by watching the players body language that they've had it with this buffoon of a coach. There's no leadership or guidance. This team has taken on the personality of the coach (as most teams do) This leadership is fatally flawed and so is the team. I didn't like this guy from the start and it's playing out exactly how I thought it would. So the seniors have "had it" with this coach so they don't give a good effort? Or play well? What do they think is going to happen? He gets fired tomorrow and their parents are the new coaches?? No way you can blame this years performance SOLELY on the HC. I've admitted several times he's def part of the problem, but to absolve the "leaders" of the team for the failures too, is ridiculous. What is the point of blaming the players? I am not paying them, I am paying the head coach. The players don't select other players. The players don't decide who goes into a game and who doesn't come out when they have two fouls in the first half. The players don't schedule wacky guarantee tournaments and home games in glens falls. The players don't give out scholarship favors to their friends kids. The players do usually remain loyal to Siena throughout their lives, unlike most Siena coaches. In summary, I can't control who plays, but I can express displeasure about who coaches. So, I will remain loyal to the players who did stay four or five years playing for a middling coach in their one shot at d1 basketball but go ahead and lambaste them and the posters who defend them if it makes you feel better. Nothing will change until he is replaced though.

In D-1 athletics their performances get judged and critiqued. You guys want big time basketball, but with elementary school rules. JP may not doing his job well, but neither are some of the "stars" on the team. Coaches success usually depends on players performances. Of course the easiest thing to do is to blame the coach 100%. Except he's not missing the shots, turning the ball over or getting beat like a drum on man-to-man defense.

If I was seeing several of our stars for the first time, I'd say they are bad too. Anyone think JO is better than that left handed kid off Vermonts bench tonight!? Or if Marquis is better than #2 Bell-Haynes??

There is no team in this team. I have no clue as to what is going on, but this is not a team, a collection of individuals. Maybe that is on Jimmy, maybe not.. but the individual talents are far better than we have seen on the court together so far this year. It is just my opinion, but the players appear to have quit, and they should be ashamed for doing so. Whatever has gone wrong, they will face far greater adversity later in life, and if quitting is their response rather than working through it, success will elude them. Time for a lot of people to grow up.

There is something going on with players for sure. But I do think you guys are overlooking the obvious- the team isn’t that good. Yes we have four 1,000 point scorers after that? And even the 4 seniors- what have they done they are 56-60 over their 4 year career—so-so
You have to have 7 or 8 players that can play. We don’t shoot free throws well, we turn ball over too much, and team isn’t disciplined, we don’t have knock down 3 point shooter. Teams are packing it in on us and quite frankly we can’t or don’t make them pay. Jimmy’s plan of getting it inside isn’t working. Is Marquis a PG or 2 guard? We are getting nothing out of Smithin and Richards just isn’t a point. Quis is shooting 38% from floor and Nico 36%- those two players take the most shots and aren’t hitting them Lack of recruiting, and revolving door via transferring is coming home to roost- we lost two really solid role players in Worm and Ryan and haven’t been able to replace them. Look at team as a whole, we just aren’t that athletic – we have athleticism of low major team. That’s what happens when you continuingly give scholarships away to kids with no offers or paying off favors to friends. I think that’s the part most surprising, Jimmy was never my pick, but I thought he would recruit well with Siena’s resources. It just hasn’t panned out that way. I think Jimmy is a good guy, but he just isn’t the right fit for Siena. I have no idea the details of Jimmy contract, if it is feasible to buy him out. But I hope they do, whatever is happening on recruiting trail, Jimmy just isn’t getting it done, with playing time available he should have been able to go out and get some top mid major recruits kids, he has pretty much swung and missed. As bad as this year is next year is shaping up to be a disaster

What's the TUC look like with 1400 people in it? hahaha I think they still get 2,00 to 2,500 a game but yeah it will be ghost town next year. I know I won't be buying season tickets next year if this coach is back. He will have run me off from 2 premium seats to no season ticket at all. Patsos knew he had to win when he took job, sadly for both Jimmy and Siena/Siena fans it just hasn't worked out

Look back at the CBI Tournament game last season ... All the problems of this season were on display ... Easy to be a Monday morning quarterback but no one picked up on this
