@marksingelais Vermont Jr. F Payton Henson, the team's leading scorer & rebounder, won't play vs. @sienambb, per John Becker. Still out with knee injury.
@marksingelais Looks like Nico Clareth will be back in starting lineup when @sienambb plays Vermont Thursday. Clareth in gold jersey at practice today.

yeah he has called it right several times this year. Tough game for Saints, Becker just owns Jimmy. But we are home and this team is capable of playing well on a given night if they shoot well. If its a close game Becker will beat Patsos. Hoping lamb doesnt come to Albany and kill us

The article, IMO, points out the one common and glaring shortfall of our head coach - his apparent dismissal of the value of detailed scouting, analysis and game planning. Our kids can shoot - there is no denying that but our offenses (and I'm sure we have one more than the ubiquitous "2") don't appear to be designed to put our players in the best position to execute what they each do best. The scout and subsequent analysis should uncover both the strengths and weaknesses of our opponent and the staff should then work to impede the strengths and exploit the weaknesses. We don't seem to do that PERIOD We make no in game adjustments (especially coming out of halftime), instead we just keep running the same old same old and hope that a)someone gets open and b)recognizes it and c)takes a shot and d)someone just might be positioned by pure luck to rebound a miss. If it isn't working, rotate players in and out until god only knows what! Moving players from position to position just amplifies our inconsistencies - the "LL at the point" gimmick might work for one or two games with an OOC opponent but it's got a snowball's chance in hell against our MAAC foes who all know us like the open and very short book we are.

Another MP aka snowFLAKE rant about Jimmy! 🙄🙄 It's not a rant you little douchebag, it's. A sound analysis of what s wrong with our offense. Maybe for once you could add some value do the discussion.

Well if Nico is starting, I think we can assume Wright will play the point. That's their best starting 5. Vermonts best player didnt play against Butler either and they played pretty well. Think they lost by 12.

MW starting at the point, hopefully true. Since his return from the injury neither him or the team have been playing that well with regularity. MW is a point guard not a 2 guard. Hopefully the kids dismiss the atrocious coaching and just go out and play. At this point the team would be better off coaching themselves. Hopefully everyone had joyous holiday.

Nico saying all the right things. Hope it is a sign that the transfer rumors are just that. A win against UVM would be huge for the Saints.
