So they just beat #1 Duke. Maybe they'll be able to run with us. But I doubt it.

We have two seniors up front. Their star firs Mason originally committed to Towson. Imagine if they weeee able to keep him

I wonder what odds Nate Sliver would give Siena at Kansas?
Just get better...play hard and compete as best as you can and see what happens. If the game gets out of reach early in the second half JP needs to be smart with a quick turnaround (8pm Friday in Kansas to 2pm Sunday in NC) and winnable Ashville game on Sunday and rest some guys (i.e. Quis and Brett).

Interesting match-ups for the MAAC Friday night - the preseason Top 2 teams each take on high major programs (Cuse & Kansas respectively). What would the combined spread be on these games? +34.5?
I hope we see our guys compete. The last time Siena played at the Phog, I recall giving Kansas more of a run for their money than they expected (if you go to enough Siena games at the TUC, you know nervous applause when you hear it). It would be great to see a disciplined effort - defend hard, box out, take care of the ball, don't let the moment overcome them.

I'm guessing even with a loss at Kansas Patsos will not immediately be on the hot seat. ;-)

They just had two wars. Look for them to rest some guys in this game. I'm hoping WB gets 20 min and we can all finally see whats what.

H J have you seen your man? dominate some practices or what? I hope that every team member helps out the team in some manner even as a practice player/. I would get Sam Friday playing time if I could I think he brings things team is missing to the table. To be respectable at Kansas team needs everyone playing their best not just two guys.

Kansas isn't exactly a team I would use to start gauging individual players stock specially one that hasn't played in well over a year. They're arguably one of the best programs in the country. Hell, Im hoping we can go in there and at least look somewhat respectable as a group. This is their Daemen game.
If you want to find out if WB is going to be serviceable you start running him out for maybe 5-6 min block a half over the several games and look for improvement. Hopefully you see a player that is making incremental progress over time. Say what you want about practice but there's no substituting for actual game time experience.

The 5-6 min intervals you're talking about will never happen unless he opens JP's eyes. This is why tomorrows game might be able to help him get those genuine minutes the rest of the season. I just want to see the kid get over 15 minutes in a game and see what he can do. This will be the only time we get beat by 30, hopefully, all season so its as good a spot as any.

Oof, so close! Combined spread is +33.5 (Monmouth +12.5, Siena +21). Here's to the dudes that do suit up tonight make Siena proud. I'm not delusional and expecting a close game here, but it's an opportunity to put in a memorable effort. ....with that said, I'd play the parlay taking Cuse and Kansas. Hopefully I'm wrong!
