Seems like those knees were fine last Sunday. Funny how those knees bother him in losses. Apparently, you didn't read the story in the paper after the game last week. Or are you calling him a liar?
No not at all. It's just human nature to use it as a reason for sub par performance. I don't think Brett is saying that, but some fans are.

And, if you do not say he was lying last week, would that not naturally affect his play? P.S. - Please preview your posts to make sure it didn't get effed up.

As good as a player that he is Brett struggles in up games - GW and especially Kansas would certainly qualify as those. No question his knees were hurting hopefully they will be manageable. I expect to see the first team all-MAAC player starting very shortly.

I expect to see the first team all-MAAC player starting very shortly. That is very true. He struggles in these games, and feasts against like competition. I don't doubt his knees bother him, but I think people are seeing things that aren't there now that they know his knees are an issue. I'm a big Brett fan, but he has ALWAYS looked labored getting up and down the court.

Did you guys even watch the fhe game? Unless he was gassed they were bothering him. My wife even commented what was wrong with him. Go backhand watch game 1 then watch the second half against Kansas. I realize the level of competition is different I'm referring to his actual movements. I don't really care to make an excuse that isn't there as I will be fine whether they go 10-20 or 20-10 this year. I'm just saying it was noticeable and I hope it doesn't linger. Some of you read into things way too much here

Let's see how he does in Asheville. Hoping I'm right. If I'm wrong, and he really is being limited by his knees, it sucks for all of us.

I brought a friend of mine with me who is just a causal fan and he asked me what was up with him because he looked exhausted in the first half .. He was struggling getting up and down the floor. Trust me it didn't take basketball genius to see that he looked gassed.

No doubt something is physically wrong with him. He's already challenged enough facing real talent in up games, so it's magnified in the last 2. The way he would run back on defense was the telling sign for me. Like it was painful.

If you look back, his numbers were almost identical against Duke/Wisconsin.. very EF-like.
