Siena gave them a good run for a while! Especially when you consider they have two good players out! And only 9 turnovers tonight! Impressive!

Imagine if the 2 knuckle heads played.

Bisping was struggling to get up and down the court in the second half and could barely jump for rebounds. His knees are clearly bothering him. I hope that this doesn't linger all year long

Fun game. Never really thought Kansas was in trouble but Saints battled. Interesting that siena cleared their bench well before Kansas cleared theirs. Love Wright's fight, he started miserably and stuck with it to have another great outing. Bisping didn't do much and couldnt finish the few opportunities he had. JO was great early, looked tired late with a couple of weak shots and an airball from 3.
Impressed with Richard and Shivers. Still waiting for Smithen to show his game. Friday was a big body and certainly able to hold his own physically. good to see Huerter get a little run.
Looking forward to seeing Long play on Sunday, he has certainly been missed.

I agree with your entire post, but would just say that I think we have sort of gotten a good glimpse of Smithen's game so far. He seems to be a steady point guard capable of knocking down open shots, and has made some good passes but hasn't showed an excessive amount of creativity thus far. So far I feel like he is a reliable point, but has had some unfortunate turnovers at bad times that have led to runouts in the last two games. Other than those instances I have been enjoying his game so far

I agree about Friday-he is a beast! The team looked significantly better with him on the court!

Smithen drew three charges tonight. Smart and a leader. Glad he's only a soph. Not explosive like Richards, but steadier.

Smithen is the perfect replacement for Ryan Oliver disposition wise with an overall centering demeanor.

Funny how those knees bother him in losses.
