I'm gonna go with WB as the most impactful new guy next year. I don't disagree, but Smithen is going to be a help defensively. He is quick and aggressive. He's going a real pain in the butt for MAAC guards. I said somewhere, I love his defense. I think he should get some credit for the great start 'Quis had last year. He was so used to doing whatever he wanted in practice when Evan covered him, but Kadeem really pushed him. Made him work harder, and ultimately a better player. I'm hoping our newest commit will also benefit during his RS year going up against JO and Brett everyday in practice. I'm just not sold on Kadeems offensive ability. Not sure how much we can get out of him on that end of the floor. His plusses are leadership, defense and ballhandling. Really needs to work on his jumper.

Trueheart is the perfect example of waiting too long, and getting bad advice from his "handlers." He was convinced he going much higher but the offers never came. By time he realized that, his offers had dried up and basically all that was left standing was staying in Buffalo at Canisius or going a little south to a school that has 9 juniors. Heard Truehearts 'ship at James Madison fell thru. It's June next week and he's got no college. Poster child of how NOT to run your recruitment.

They have available scholarships, and he might be pretty good in their system.

According to JMU board JMU never offered, deal was Trueheart wanted to walk on at JMU if JMU would guarantee a ship for other 3 years- JMU wouldn’t agree to that. Have to wonder if there is something else up with Trueheart, either he has grade issues or isn’t as good as we thought

JMU had a few transfers so you would think he would fit there. There is obviously something wrong here other than pure talent

Unless I'm missing something all 13 scholarships are now accounted for. I think we're officially done recruiting for 2016. Focus for the staff should be signing three studs for 2017 now.

I think the roster is fluid until about September 5. Learn from the past my friend. Stuff happens over the summer

Very rare to have movement now you can count on your hand Siena has had in the past several years. It's almost June the roster is pretty well set. Even so at this moment (to my knowledge) there is no scholarship to give out.

My biggest fear is WB....I'm afraid he will fall in lust while he is home for the summer. A 3 or 4 hour drive on a weekend is one thing but traveling to Europe for a weekend is something else.

I'm pretty sure Huerter got the final ship, and I'm still concerned over the schools handling of Joseph. Eligible immediately for ever other MAAC school, but we might make him sit.

If Joseph is eligible with the NCAA then Siena should not hold him back. If that's true and he would be eligible at every other MAAC school I don't see why he would have to sit out at Siena. Siena is a good academic school but this is not the Patriot or the Ivy league here. If you allow your coach to take a JUCO who is NCAA qualified don't hold the kid back. Hope Joseph can play because he's yet another arrow in the quiver for Jimmy on defense.
