Trueheart is the perfect example of waiting too long, and getting bad advice from his "handlers." He was convinced he going much higher but the offers never came. By time he realized that, his offers had dried up and basically all that was left standing was staying in Buffalo at Canisius or going a little south to a school that has 9 juniors.

Saw a pic of the Huerter boys today, and Tom is def taller than Kevin, so he's a legit 6'7" right now.

Put another 15lbs on and he could really develop He just needs to get some swagger. Believe how good he can be. He could be a factor his sophomore year. We'll see. His lack of offers means he didn't really impress anyone when he had the chance to showcase his stuff. Both brothers played on the same team - and everyone only wanted one of them. Here's hoping the elder brother is a late bloomer. The DNA is certainly there.

He outplayed Kevin in the State tournament games against better competition. Getting away from, and out of his younger brothers shadow, was the best thing he could have done. He needs to get some confidence, because people know he can play too. We don't need much from him next year, but hopefully in his 2nd year, he'll discover the value he can bring to the team.

I really think he'll be all-MAAC as an upperclassman--strong fundamentals, good shooter & passer, great teammate

I really think he'll be all-MAAC as an upperclassman--strong fundamentals, good shooter & passer, great teammate Because of his size and rumored skillset, I actually do have the most hope for Heurter to be all-maac from this class. I just haven't really seen him play. Richard is a 6th man type and Friday's skillset, not to mention true height, is completely unknown. Friday sounds a little undersized for a center. Heurter may be the main shot for this group to have an all-maac guy, not that it's overly likely based on what we know now.

Richard and Smithen look to be the additions that figure to make the most impact this year.

So now you're saying that JO is shrinking? This is horrible news! Quick, somebody call this guy.

I assume you see him getting his minutes spelling both JO and Brett, correct? Would you anticipate seeing the 3 of them on the floor at the same time often/ever? Does he get 20 mins/game in this role?

It wouldn't shock me to see them (he, JO and Brett) all on the floor together. We'd have to be playing zone defensively, but the other end, we'd be very hard to defend in the MAAC. WB has really improved when I saw him play. Can he translate that from the practice sessions to the real life game time? I sure hope so.
