Personally, I'm glad that Manhattan and Iona both made the finals (if it had to be a team other than Siena, of course). They were the most consistently good teams in the MAAC this year, and either will represent the conference well.
Usually when a good offense (Gaels) plays a good defense (Jaspers) in a championship game, it's a good bet to go with the D...but I'm going with Iona. Too much firepower, and they stretch the floor so well with the long ball.

I hope this game lives up to it's potential hype. I am going to go with Manhattan because I am hoping Mugsy Masiello will bolt if he wins the title.

the beauty of college basketball! one game, winner takes all, who's on, who's feeling it. I think this is about as much of a coin toss as we could possibly have. I sure would'nt put any money on this game. These are certainly the two teams that deserve to be in the championship game. I really haven't been able to choose a winner here. They both have veteran players that can step up at any moment and be the difference. If I was forced, Iona.

Manhattan 88 Iona 80 - Jaspers pressure will really bother the Gaels.

Manhattan. Iona fans are getting too cocky. Knock them down a notch.

The way the tournament played out maybe only the top four teams should have played.

I think Iona wins but probably better for the league if Manhattan does so Iona can get the NIT bid. Either is going to be a very dangerous 13 in the NCAAs.

Manhattan should get in based on their numbers but if enough small conference regular season champs lose in their conference tourneys then they will pass Manhattan up for less deserving schools from big conferences.

I am hoping for a Manhattan win but think Iona will be dancing.
If the ref'ing allows physical play, then Manhattan has a chance. If it's a tight whistle, then Iona will win easy.

It makes for an excellent final - I'm going with Manhattan if it is a close game, and if the refs let them play. I love to watch the Jaspers' pressure defense. However, Iona, if they are "on", could blow the game apart. Nah, the Jaspers will not let that happen. I have a meeting tonight, but the DVR is set.
