Early on, many of his fouls were on setting ball screens or help defense (hacking people so they don't score). Those are rare now. He was fine vs Niagara and often played man-to-man vs Mason. Last night he had a bad one 70ft from the basket. So it's not fixed for sure, but he's learning & adjusting. Mike I wish that was true but the fact is he has had to sit for long stretches in Almost every game this season, nothing has changed. Bad foul on 3 pt shot in the 1st half as well as the 70' foul. His 4th wasn't great either ... Got beat.

I agree it's a big problem and I'm not excusing it. And I may be wrong in the end, but I see some progress. I wish he was making progress faster cause we could really use him for 30+ min every night, but I have a little hope that he's finding his way.

Yes, patsos, the other team is not fouling as much as your team. Please listen to your point guard.

These comments make me really question whether JP is really addressing the issues of all the fouls. These have cost us a couple games. We could dismiss it the first month of the season (or even till New Years), but its a big issue that, if addressed with some urgency, seems like we could improve upon.

Or it could be the fouling actually helps us by forcing our opponents to score at the line and it is just a symptom of the fact that we are undermanned.
I think things will get better as the players adjust, but more importantly when we add needed recruits.
