Already getting posts deleted for questioning the delusion of the fanbase? Awesome. Yet no one can answer why the fouls should be even. Not sure what you are talking about? I already said Siena deserved every foul called on them-- many posters didn't see the game so its a natural question- unlike Canisius Siena has actual fans so not surprising its a concept beyond you Do you read your own board?

Tough game. The foul differential is crazy. I didn't see it live -did we play horrible or did the refs call an uneven game? The game wasn't called unevenly, but it wasn't called well. NCAA should watch video of this game when they decide if these new rules make sense.

As always we needed all the fouls shoots we missed. I did not like the slow down near the end of regulation. If we played our regular offense, and went to the hoop, we could have drawn some fouls on them and remember they were all in foul trouble themselves. At the end of the game they had their starting lineup in there, we had three starters on the bench. I thought that was the difference.

With Lavon and Imoh fouled out, we were really screwed. Lost our rim protection (Imoh) and lost the only player on our roster (Lavon) that could match their physicality in the paint. Azotam was unstoppable after those guys were gone.
This was undoubtedly a heartbreaker, even more so than the Iona loss in my opinion. We were in control until Rob committed that awful foul to allow the three point play. I'm sure he is kicking himself for that. Contesting a shot is a tough instinct to suppress. If he'd just let him lay it in...if only. That hurt.
On the bright side, we got a lot of good play from many of our guys.
FWIW, I also thought the officiating was pretty awful. I just didn't get the sense that it really favored either team. There were several travel calls that I really thought were imagined. Brett also drew more charges than you should be able to nowadays!
I hope they can bounce back on Friday. That's gonna be a tough game there.

There was no one else to put in!! I thought he should have played more not less!! And Coach had a chance to sub out some of the ones with 4 fouls on defense and didn't do it. Tough to pin on one guy, but if I had to choose one, it would be Coach Patsos.

You’re a big man, an your player has you on the baseline. There is no reason your player goes baseline and scores on you. When your player has you near the baseline, put your foot over the baseline and he can’t take the baseline and score on you,and plus 1 They scored all night taking the baseline. Hell we give the baseline all year.

Outscored at foul line by 22 points (47 vs 25) Not sure I saw that big a difference in the game. Siena outscored them from the field by 7 baskets. Too bad the officials didn't let the players decide the game.

im sorry cause i know you all are in love with jimmy, but that was awful coaching by him at the end of regulation he had 2 TIMEOUTS and just let the game slip away. he was trying to just sit on the ball for the last 3 min cause they thought they had it in the bag, and quinipiac just took it to them, i knew that siena had no chance in OT with so many people fouled out. Go ahead get mad at this post but the truth is that was poorly managed, and really jimmy didnt need to get a technical, that having been said the refs were complete s**t and i do like jimmy, and look forward to some wins

If he'd just let him lay it in...if only. After the game Poole DID put the loss on him for that play. But there were plays throughout the game that could have made a difference - missed foul shots, poor execution at end of regulation, allowing the three with 0.9 seconds left in the first half, etc. Tough loss. Hopefully they'll take some lessons from this one. Good atmosphere at the game, however. Hope the crowds keep growing.

Too bad the officials didn't let the players decide the game. Ummmm, so are the refs not supposed to call a foul when one is committed? Or is this back to the fouls have to be even thing? If you are trolling for certain posters who thought it was called unevenly atleast acknowledge those who thought it was fair.. Youre a creep the amount of time you spend on other boards and the maac screams pathetic. Its not a good look for you guy

Yeah. Not concerned with what you think about me. Much more interested in the psychosis that is this fanbase. It's fascinating.

If Lavon Long would learn how to stick around for the final five minutes of the game this would have been a win. He OWNED Q on offense tonight.
