Couple things 1) Kemp didn't play 2) Marist is adjusting to new style of play, they played dribble drive under Martin 3) I agree, Bower didn't get off the bench enough that game. He just took it. I mentioned that in the game thread, and that is concerning. BUT, just starting, maybe he wants to build up the relationship with the players before he starts yelling/screaming? 4) PG play, especially Morton has been beyond abysmal. That can't keep up all season. Thanks for asking, but I think if I continue talking about Marist, I will get yelled at by one of the generals of the board:) Thanks I was going to sign on over on your board and ask but didnt want to come across as a troll. I think you just sneakily called me a troll:)

Memphis showed they are not a quality Top 20 team with their blowout loss to Oklahoma St. Playing at a neutral site against a team that could be looking beyond us to a match up with LSU is a great way to pick up coach's first signature win as a Saint. I think they will continue to run and press and I think Lavon and Imoh will have more of an impact on the game than they did against Purdue. These guys need to know that giving up a hoop here and there in the short run is better for the team in the long run. We need to realize, especially for offensively talented teams from higher conferences, that we can't always stop them but that if we can put two halves together of agressive offensive ball, that we just might be able to outscore them so my prediction on Thanksgiving is that we score, score, score. With Hymes getting into an apparant groove where he feels comfortable coming off the bench and is playing with confidence and not looking over his shoulder, I think we will finally find a way to play two solid offensive halves where we get production from everyone including a big breakout game from Wolfe and hold them off with an upset in a close win in a shootout; 90-88. Halftime - Memphis-46 Siena-45 Poole-16; Hymes-15; Long-12; Wright-11; Silas-10; White-8; Bisbing-6; Wolfe-7; Oliver-5 Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Go Siena! Beat Memphis! I'm curious how losing to the #4 team in the country shows they aren't a quality team? Hell , ranked teams get beat by unranked all the time. I guess anyone in the Top 25 sucks?

Just checked into the Gaylord Palms and saw both Memphios and Washington St. teams walking around. GOOD LUCK started already with a room upgrade suggested by the NY girl checking us in!! Gave us the $1500/night Presidential Suite for $400/night!! SOLD!! lol
Let's hope this good fortune pours over onto the hardwood at 6:30!!

10 mini games - Siena 1-0 so far. Ugly but effective.

Saints hanging in there-- but man dont know how- the size and athleticism difference is glaring - if Saints aren't careful this could get ugly

Well that wasn't our finest 4 min stretch. 1-1 but hanging around overall. The longer we do that, the better it will be for our confidence.

Long still having trouble staying on the court-- not a coincidence Memphis building lead.
