I'm with PPC - who here would have predicted what Vermont did at Duke? Hopefully the Saints will have their best day shooting tomorrow!

Memphis showed they are not a quality Top 20 team with their blowout loss to Oklahoma St. Playing at a neutral site against a team that could be looking beyond us to a match up with LSU is a great way to pick up coach's first signature win as a Saint. I think they will continue to run and press and I think Lavon and Imoh will have more of an impact on the game than they did against Purdue. These guys need to know that giving up a hoop here and there in the short run is better for the team in the long run. We need to realize, especially for offensively talented teams from higher conferences, that we can't always stop them but that if we can put two halves together of agressive offensive ball, that we just might be able to outscore them so my prediction on Thanksgiving is that we score, score, score. With Hymes getting into an apparant groove where he feels comfortable coming off the bench and is playing with confidence and not looking over his shoulder, I think we will finally find a way to play two solid offensive halves where we get production from everyone including a big breakout game from Wolfe and hold them off with an upset in a close win in a shootout; 90-88. Halftime - Memphis-46 Siena-45 Poole-16; Hymes-15; Long-12; Wright-11; Silas-10; White-8; Bisbing-6; Wolfe-7; Oliver-5 Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Go Siena! Beat Memphis! Now that's more like it...I am just hoping Long and Silas stay out of Foul trouble and the Saints go big at points in the game...that will be the difference

Memphis drives ALOT. Biggest worry is foul trouble. Staying in a zone the whole game would take care of that.

A concern that I have is that I have zero doubt memphis will be prepared for hymes. They will look at the purdue tape and prepare accordingly

Poole will probably struggle tomorrow. Wright will most certainly take some pressure and if Hymes gets D'd up then someone is going to have to fill that void. It will definitely take a team effort to compete

I think this is going to be Long's game to shine.

I think this is going to be Long's game to shine. I honestly just want him to stay out of foul trouble. He can't get that early two. If he can do that he can be effective in some way might not be scoring ..depends on what everyone else is doing.. I agree with KK on taking care of the ball being our strength.

I'd be thankful today if a few more 3s were sunk tonight .... Team percentage has been abysmal.

I'd be thankful today if a few more 3s were sunk tonight .... Team percentage has been abysmal. I think the 3s will come around. I love the fact patsos has the team attacking the hoop and getting to the line. The threes are just a comfort level issue right now. The team is learning when and when not to take 3s and that hesitation is enough to disrupt even good shooters. As they gain that comfort level.... they will fall

Good point. I know it seems like a little thing, but I like how Patsos is putting the seed of possibility out there for winning these up games. This was one of my areas of concern prior to the hire.

You are right I hated that. The attitude is more positive and the expectation is greater. It seems like Patsos is continually tweeking this team. Like what I see so far, even though he wasn't my original choice.
